Wheelers Den is a cosy and quiet self contained house in a lovely rural village. Ideal as a base for experiencing authentic village life and exploring Nara, Wazuka and southern Kyoto. Amazing cycling, hiking, temples, 700 year old stone carvings, tea plantations, rice fields and mountains all close. Free rental bikes available. By train Nara is 15 minutes. Iga ninja museum and castle 35 mins. Kyoto 57 mins. Osaka 50 mins. Free parking for one car. A great place for a unique experience of Japan.

A 150-year-old mountain village inn run with Emiko, an 88-year-old landlady. It offers traditional Engawa, Irori, Goemon bath, and local cuisine. ・ Nigiri sushi made with yuzu juice ・ Stir-fried sardines and potatoes ・ Soba rice soup made from buckwheat nuts, etc. At an altitude of 650m, it is cool all year round, and you can enjoy waterfalls. 築約100年の古民家です。立派な梁や柱、土間があり昔なつかしの日本を体感していただけます。 車で5分の所にスーパーのマックスバリュがあります。 車で3分の所にコンビニがあります。 ダブルベッドが2台あり、 敷布団 4組用意出来ます。 洗濯機（屋外）あります。 ホストは「古木のある家」から約200mの所に住んでいます。 レンタル電動アシスト自転車で 田園風景、里山、鳥のさえずり、川のせせらぎ、地元の人々が守ってきた歴史ある小さな神社やお寺の周遊がお勧めです。 日本土木遺産のメガネ橋、ねじり橋 日本山岳遺産の竜ヶ岳 花の百名山の1つ藤原岳 天然記念物の川魚「ネコギギ」を飼育する藤原文化センター メールにて滞在目的をお伝え下さいますと、他にも沢山ある地元の情報をお伝え出来ます。 1933年生まれの義父の両親が建てた家です。 宿を始める前は8年間空き家でした。皆様が宿泊してくださるお陰で少しずつ少しずつ修繕することが出来ています。日本の美しい技術と文化である古民家を未来に残したい、1人でも多くの方に触れて頂きたい。そんな思いでしております。

【Teshima’s Ocean View Retreat Tokuto】King Villa

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

TAKIO guesthouse HANARE 2

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on Sunday.(Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.
