Het huis is direct gelegen naast de Middeleeuwse kerk op de grootste wierde van Nederland. Veel mooie authentieke dorpen in de omgeving , de oneindige polders en de vogel(spot)rijke kwelders van de Waddenzee zijn op fietsafstand te bewonderen. Ook een bezoek aan de stad Groningen en eilanden Schiermonnikoog en Borkum is de moeite waard!
