The "Lieblingsnest" is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the municipality of Kating on the North Sea peninsula of Eiderstedt, not far from the Katinger Watt nature and bird sanctuary, the romantic harbor town of Tönning and the North Sea seaside resort of St. Peter-Ording. North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. In the district town of Heide, 20 km from the North Sea, we offer part of our house as a complete, completely separate residential unit of approx. 120 m2 for max. 4 people. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street, about 15 minutes walk to the Heide center/market square and is very convenient as a starting point for walks in the moor, forest and for bike tours. Bikes can be stored and the car can be parked right outside the front door.

A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!

Dear guests, Our apartment is located in a newly built (2021/2022) single-family house in the basement with its own entrance in the countryside. Strübbel is rurally located in the district of Dithmarschen/Schleswig-Holstein. Coming from the A23 highway from the south, drive north on the B 5 until the Hemme exit and our place is only 5 km away. Only one road leads through Strübbel, the Dorfstrasse.

Two to four adults and their entourage will feel very comfortable in this spacious and special accommodation.
