Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Katwijk

For the first time, we found a well-maintained place to stay. The summer house is lovingly decorated, quietly located and offers tranquility in the small, invisible garden. The kitchen is not equipped with unnecessary things and has everything it needs. Ruth and Wim are extremely gracious people and I thank both very much for the good conversations. The two bikes we were allowed to use were especially great. Katwijk is a very nice place and we would like to come back. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time. We wish them with all our heart all the best and love.

We enjoyed the stay in Aldas comfy home with 2 families. Enough space for kids and adults. Toys and fishes in the pool and fully equiped kitchen. Beach is only 10 min walk away. Looking forward to come back!!

Wonderful house, absolutely for a family with kids. we enjoyed every minute here and would love to come again!

Furnished with a lot of attention to detail and matching the area or the nearby sea. Steep stairs upstairs (bedroom). Here you need sure-footedness. A few minutes walk to Central bus station and to the long, fine, beautiful sandy beach. We enjoyed the stay. Finally, we met the friendly hosts. We had a great time to be your guests. Stefan and family Note: From the age of 12, the children pay for public transportation. Industries own credit card (no cash payment). Otherwise, online tickets via 9292 app, where the ticket QR code does not work. Chauffeur shown each.

We had a fantastic holiday! The apartment was very nice, clean and cozy. The location is simply top – in a few minutes you are both in the pedestrian zone and on the beach. Many good restaurants is also in walking distance. A real highlight was the host Helena: she was always quickly accessible, super friendly and incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for the great care! We will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable. Very clean, modern and cozy place. Nice shower and good kitchen equipment. As mentioned in the other reviews, the toilet is very small and right by the kitchen, so it's best to know each other when going on vacation. Free parking is a 10-minute walk away and not in the immediate vicinity, which did not necessarily bother you. Good and fast communication. The only small flaws : the ventilation in the kitchen smells a little weird. We are happy to recommend this place.

Wow! We felt so lucky to have stayed in this beautiful attic loft - what a treat it was!! The patio had amazing rooftop views and was a peaceful place to start and end each day. The loft itself is beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe and all the amenities you need including washer/dryer. We had sunny weather for our visit to Keukenhof and a wonderful bike tour through the surrounding flower farms later that afternoon, complete with the scent of hyacinth in the air...it was truly a dream. Our time in Leiden was absolutely fantastic and coming home to Bert & Marieke's place every day was the cherry on top! We sure hope to come back someday soon!! Thank you! 🧡🪻🧡

Merith's place was great -- super cute and right on the canal. Many shops and restaurants close by. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there was a cool market across the canal, where you could get produce, nuts, cheese, fish, and a variety of goods. Her place is about 10-15 minute walk to the Leiden Centraal Station, which was very convenient. The public transport system in The Netherlands is excellent. We went to Amsterdam, Gouda, The Hague, Haarlem. And we were here during tulip season, so we went to Keukenhof Gardens twice. During this season, they run a bus from Leiden Centraal Station right to Keukenhof, easy. Merith's place was clean and well appointed, just as described. I recommend it!

We had a lovely week at the end of February. Sometimes it was a little fresh in the apartment, but Sylvia immediately improved that. The location of the apartment is top, everything is within easy reach . The communication was always prompt and very nice. The apartment is hard of hearing, but that didn't bother us at all, it is also pointed out, so we were prepared.

We had a lovely stay. Our kids loved the bunkbed and being very close to the beach. The place is well-equipped, which made it very comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and welcoming.

Excellent stay in a good location. Close to the beach, dunes and the center of Katwijk. Free parking is available within walking distance. Full kitchen plus amenities were provided. As a bonus, a television with several streaming services.

Anna and Eric were great hosts and responded very quickly to our questions. Eric welcomed us and showed us around the place and explained all the facilities and gadgets. It was exactly as described and very clean. We loved the big shared living space and the bedrooms were very quiet with plenty of storage. It was next door to a great supermarket and very close to many restaurants and cafes, and about 15 minutes to the Port and main city areas.

What a great stay. I thought the location was perfect - 1 mile from the train station, a few blocks from grocery stores, bakeries, and the weekly outdoor market. I just loved it. The apartment is filled with natural light and had everything I needed. As Mirjam notes, the stairs are steep, but that is the reality of most places in the Netherlands. Mirjam was very communicative and was so kind to meet me when I checked in to make sure I had everything and could get settled easily. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We will be back! Perfect place. Private and all the amenities for a little family, little farm across the road, super market down the road and on street parking. Plus directions to where to park nearby for free and train to any city you want! Highly recommend and Margriet gave us a beautiful gift when leaving, perfect host

We stayed at Alexandra's beach house for the 3rd time and will be back for sure! For us it is the perfect place to stay in Noordwijk: great location right on the beach, very quiet, perfectly clean and very well equipped. Due to the gas fireplace, the apartment is warm and cozy in every season. Alexandra is a great hostess. Even though in principle self check-in and check-out are provided, she has always welcomed and said goodbye to us and is always available. We will be back!

From check-in to check-out, everything was great. Katy was a great host. The apartment was as shown in the pictures. And is not far from the sea. We can recommend the apartment!!

We really enjoyed our stay …super comfortable. Jasper made us feel right at home when we arrived. We had 6 in our family and it was spacious enough and we really enjoyed the high tech lighting. It was a vibe! Thanks again!
