“Marcella's place is perfect for someone who wants a nice quiet stay in the area but not too far from local attractions. It was very clean and very cozy and well stocked with coffee, tea and essentials needed to cook meals. Check in and out was very easy. I highly recommend Marcella's if you are traveling to the area. If you are coming to the Shelter Institute, it is about a 15 minute drive but off Route 1 which is very busy and loud all night long. I know that because I switched to Marcella's place half way through my stay because staying off Route 1 was so loud.”

“We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this adorable little cottage on Sabattus Lake. The cottage was perfectfor the three of us, and as we have family in the neighborhood we also found it worked well for hosting family meals with our grandchildren around the large center island with seating for 6. We also really appreciated the patio equipped with gas grill, table and firepit, and the whole family enjoyed a family cookout complete with S'mores for the kids while our son enjoyed fishing off the dock. We look forward to returning againnext year!”
Want a genuine Maine experience? Our cabin is located on a private peninsula on the Kennebec River. The river is tidal and you often see sturgeon jumping in the river just out the window. Watch the otters play in the water, see a blue heron in the morning, listening to the bald eagles playing in the trees, this cabin is truly a piece of paradise.
“Beautiful space and great views! Definitely a place to get away from hustle and bustle of city life - don’t bother with electronics. My first air bnb experience, also around a crazy time. If traveling to- follow cleaning instructions accurately as so to prevent any spreading! My phone unfortunately didn’t alert me (due to service) of the hosts new cleaning instructions so I felt bad that I did not properly do so. Don’t be me, do your part please, and enjoy the peace and relaxation of this cozy spot! Definitely bring your dog and children if you have any! Host communicated great and timely on her end aswell!”
