I periodically work in Ketchikan and wanted to show it off to my son and father. This property did not disappoint! I could not believe the view! From sun up to sun down it seemed to get better and better. The house was large, clean, and extremely comfortable! I stayed in the room with the view of the water and left the blinds open to wake up to the sunrise. They thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable. My dad loved all of the driftwood touches which added to the beachy feel. The porch was perfect for playing games, drinking coffee, and having a glass of wine with dinner. I worried about making it up the hill in our low profile rental car-it did fine but required some maneuvering to get up and down it. They did point this out in advance. It is a bit away from town-but in a very good way! Away from cruise ships and crowds and oh so lovely! The pictures don’t do the place justice!

Book and exhale. This Alaskan retreat was absolutely breathtaking! Nestled amidst stunning natural beauty, the home offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life (we flew in from Seattle to do some fishing for a few days). From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peaceful surroundings. The home was equipped with everything we needed and more! The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable & the living area provided a relaxing space to unwind after 2 days of fishing for Cohos!! The views from the windows were simply stunning, and we spent countless hours enjoying the tranquility of the Alaskan wilderness. Axel was an exceptional host. He is incredibly friendly, helpful, and just a delight to work with. We will book again for certain! If you need another recommendation - We took our 91 yo mom salmon fishing with a company called Svenson Sportfishing. 🎣 There were 5 of us and we brought 320 lbs of salmon home!

Great place to kick back away from the city. make sure you have your car rental set to go. don't depend on yellow cab or sourdough service little pricey. this place is the true Diamond in the rough, as in away from the city rough. fishing was great also.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. Mindy’s Viewtopia was clean, conveniently located, the neighborhood was quiet and there were clear instructions on the house rules as well as what to do in the area. Mindy was responsive, friendly and a great host. We’ll definitely be back.

Booked this stay at short notice it was just what we needed. Priscilla was very responsive and accommodated our very early check-in time, thank you would recommend and we’ll stay again

Chris' place was exactly as advertised. There were no surprises. Chris was proactive in communicating with us. For example, he had fire wood delivered during our stay. He let us know it was coming and told us to feel free to us as needed. The whole group enjoyed the stay would would do so again without any hesitation.

The place is very cozy & peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed several days and especially appreciated the central location and ease to wander around Creek Street and downtown. My dad lives close by and it was ideal from that perspective. It was easy to get in - just be aware that you need to climb some stairs to get to the suite I was in on the third floor. I slept well each night and the shower was hot and clean. I’d stay again.

This is a true little gem centrally located within walking distance to the heart of Ketchikan. The view of the river is peaceful from the small deck. This is on the third floor with no elevator, so you must be able to navigate stairs, but the view is worth it! I would recommend and stay again, it was just perfect.

We loved our stay here. We were close enough to Knudson cove for our boat and 10 minute drive into town. Very clean, beds were comfortable after long days of fishing, everything you’d ever need in the kitchen. We had 4 of us, so it was nice having two bathrooms. Huge freezer on the porch for our catch. Amanda was great with communication. We will definitely stay here again!
