“We stayed for 3 weeks during lockdown; Maggie and Simon are great hosts - very hands off but ultra helpful if you need something. The garden is lovely and feels very private. There are some great walks around Ketton. The apartment is very clean and bright and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely, cosy cottage. Very quaint and quirky. Bathroom well appointed but tall son felt it a bit small, due to it being an old cottage. And not used to having one loo for 5 adults, but again this was OK for short time we were there. Kitchen couldn’t sit all of us at table but that didn’t matter on this visit. Close to Stamford. Lovely touch with Prosecco and snacks. Very clean and warm. Had to park on adjacent road to unpack which was a bit frustrating as we arrived late in evening. But knew this would be the case as in cottage description. All in all a lovely cottage and ideally located for our visit.”

“When I found out I had to attend a training course in Peterborough, I thought I would have to get up at 4am to drive there, as my Dad has just gone into a care home for people with dementia and I'm currently sole carer for my Mum, who's not coping too well. But at the last minute, I decided to arrange cover and come up the day before, to stay in this lovely cottage. Seeing as it was my birthday. And I'm so glad I did. The cottage is just beautiful, homely, cosy and lovely. Olivia was a great host. I only met her briefly but it was just lovely to meet someone who wasn't a carer! It was amazing just to be able to spend one evening on my own, with a bottle of wine, a roaring fire (such a great log-burner. Sorry I used all your logs), before returning to the madness. If you ever need to get away, for whatever the reason, I would recommend this place. It's just idyllic. A beautiful area, a great stone cottage, a log burner that just roars and crackles, a kitchen with everything you need, and a great comfortable bed. My little dog loved the garden too, and it's nice that it was secure for him. Thank you. You gave me a beautiful night's respite from it all, at a time when it was needed the most.”
