“Susan’s lake house is very homey and she was more than welcoming. We felt very well accommodated for our stay. The space was very clean and well kept and a lovely home all around. The bedrooms listed are cozy, each equipped with their own space heaters for colder months. The bedrooms and private bathroom are all at the end of one hallway on the first floor while Susan occupies the space upstairs. She made herself available for anything else we might have needed while still offering a more private space in the bedrooms. A great stay and would most certainly return in the future. “Booked this last minute on an impulse just for one night so we could have fun in the mountains and not have to drive. It was so cool, it is just what I expect form beautiful mountan land. I want to live up here so bad. We went with our kids, a ten year old and a 19 month old. They both loved it. My daughter slept on the little self inflating matt. There is also an air mattress in that trunk. The bed was comfy. The wood pile is super convenient. I love how deep in the woods it is. We walked about 15 minutes down a trail to a swimming spot on the river. Rocks to lay out on, deep clear pool to swim. It was 95 degrees and the water felt amazing. The yurt got wicked hot, but cooled off perfect for sleeping. I want to come back in the fall and use the wood stove. I've never seen so many fireflies. The stars were amazing.”
