Kilometrin päässä sijaitsee Nukarinkosken rauhoitettu alue, joka on komea luonnonnähtävyys kalastusmahdollisuuksineen. 8 min automatkan päässä on Jokelan rautatieasema, josta pääsee HSL-lipulla Helsingin rautatieasemalle 41 minuutissa. Ilmainen autopaikka on talon pihalla. Emäntä asuu kissansa kanssa samassa talossa omassa asunnossaan, joten apu on lähellä jos sitä tarvitaan.
