Secluded, private and beautifully appointed with a touch of retro style, The House at Puppy's Point is the ideal holiday home for a Norfolk Island getaway.
“The House at Puppy Point is the perfect place to stay on Norfolk to enjoy the peaceful lifestyle characteristic of the island. It is a short walk to the Puppy Point lookout famous for viewing the sunsets and a short drive to the Captain Cook Lookout. In fact, anywhere on the island is a short drive. (Thank you to Maureen for organising our hire car which was waiting (as she was) at the airport upon our arrival.) The house is tastefully decorated for comfort and style. There are a couple of comfy places for outside drinks and bbq. I particularly enjoyed watching the various bird life enjoy a ground level birdbath that was situated outside my bedroom. Be sure to go to the Kingston Pier in the afternoon to buy freshly caught and filleted fish. You’ll have all you need in the kitchen to cook a very tasty meal back at the house👌🏻 All in all, The House at Puppy Point enhanced our stay on a truly beautiful and interesting island.”
A spacious 'getaway' set in our orchard, 40 metres from the main house. It's private and very relaxing. Now with car available for very competitive rate.
“We want to thank Karen for her amazing hospitality & for providing such a well set up cottage to relax so comfortably on beautiful Norfolk Island. Everything (including delicious provisions) is provided to enhance your stay - so much so we didn’t want to leave - we are already missing the chickens & orchard & birdsong! Karen organised our car hire for us too which was fantastic. There is so much to see & do on the island, we recommend 10 days at least if you want a mix of relaxation, history, nature, food experiences (Hilli Goat farm tour a must do!). There is good cooking utensils & a gas cooktop which were great. A good iron & washing machine & even stain spray! Great bathroom & the shower has good shower pressure. A library with a Clive Cussler selection to be proud of. Comfy lounge & bed & plenty of wardrobe space & mirrors. For internet access - there is a 2G network operating over the island, so you purchase a Norfolk Island Telecom card when you arrive to use in the cottage & multiple areas over the island. We just loved our stay here & would absolutely recommend to anyone.”
INCLUDES FREE HIRE CAR - Overlooking Cemetery Bay and Phillip Island - The house is spacious, with three bedrooms, large lounge/dining area, full kitchen, three decks, Weber barbecue, two bathrooms and own laundry You’ll love Kentia's setting, spectacular ocean views, beautiful sea birds and peace and quiet. Kentia is perfect for couples, and families. Close to the convict ruins, Government House and golf course in the Kingston historical precinct, and close to beautiful Emily Bay.
“Kentia's 3 bed house is in a beautiful location looking to the ocean through the Norfolk Pines. Our afternoons were spent on the large balcony watching the sun go down. The house is very clean and comfortable, and has a well equipped kitchen. Our host provided 2 bath towels for each guest, beach towels and a starter pack of coffee, tea etc. Robyn was very accommodating and helpful with our queries prior to our trip, and Sue was a great hostess once we arrived on the island. Sue met us at the airport and gave us an orientation on the way back to the house. Kentia is well situated for the swimming beach and historical area of Kingston. A car is fairly much an essential on NF and to have it provided as part of our accommodation package was a nice surprise, as was the half day island tour. We highly recommend Kentia.”
