“It was simply amazing. The location was serene and beautiful. When it came to the house itself, it was sparkling clean. It had all the necessary utensils and kitchen appliances..We enjoyed the jacuzzi over looking a gorgeous scenery. Although there was no cellular access, there were board games and the drawers were filled with DVD’s that the children could enjoy .. The beds were just huge and super comfortable.. it had everything we needed to make our Christmas relaxing and wonderful.. Mark was very prompt with his replies and very informative as well..Looking forward to our next stay again.. 5 Stars..!”
Summer with its cool nights and beautiful warm days provides time for eating outdoors and relaxing in the shade gardens or cooking in the summer house with its bbq and comfortable outdoor furniture and stunning views. Winter is a wonderful time to visit this most beautiful valley with mists, towering hills and vistas in very direction. A magnificent and luxurious cottage nestled in one of Western Australia's most beautiful valleys. And it is pet friendly!
“My partner and I LOVED this place! I was so surprised when I walked in the door how beautiful it was - the perfect little cottage for a romantic getaway. It is next to the main house but there is plenty of privacy. Communication with Louise was really smooth and friendly. The surrounding land is so beautiful with big, rolling hills, kangaroos and birds everywhere. A little hidden piece of magic. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the shower and bathtub are huge! We loved it here, would definitely come back and highly recommend it.”
The newly renovated American style barn house is discreetly nestled in the secluded tranquil grounds of Birdwood Park Estate, a small seventeen acre hobby farm bound by Balingup Brook on three sides and the Avenue of Honour on the fourth. Stunning views of the surrounding rolling hills and brook are complimented by the impressive oak trees. Despite the quiet rural ambience guests are only a very short stroll from the centre of the Balingup village.
“Such a lovely place. Mary was so kind and welcoming. She even gave us freshly baked bread and delicious jam and pickled walnuts! Delicious. We enjoyed the animals, the views, beautiful foggy mornings and played games by the pot belly stove inside. Perfect mini getaway. Such a great space, and it was sparkling clean. So close to town too! Definitely will be back.”
