The apartment is located in the basement of a detached family house in Kleinmachnow, right on the gates of Berlin. It is a self-contained residential unit (granny flat) which can be reached via a separate entrance (external staircase)
“Top equipped basement apartment with everything you need. Very nice, always responsive and helpful hosts, really exemplary. The children were even allowed to play in the (large) garden. Good connection to the public transport network, shopping within walking distance. With the kindly borrowed bike the shopping went even better. We felt very comfortable and like to come back.”
Kleinmachnow is a calm city (about 20.000 inhabitants) surrounded by nature. It is located south-west neighbouring to Berlin. You need about 20min. to reach downtown by suburban railway. A mountain bike is available, so you can reach S-Bahn in about 5min. Also restaurants, snack bars, shops an other grocery stores are accessible within 5min by bike.
“The house and the room itself is spacious and comfortable, located upstairs right next to the bathroom. The apartment is very clean and Andreas, the host, gives a thorough tour of the place. Communication with the host was quick, straightforward, and without any issue. I can definitely recommend the place! Although the house is not central, the public transportation is smooth and easy to figure out.”
