Our guest house (approx. 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children. On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. This lovingly furnished vacation home was newly built in 2023 and impresses with its unique location and its unobstructed view on a plateau right on the edge of the forest. It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space. In the house, all 3 bedrooms are furnished in pine wood.

But walking across the drained reservoir is possible and very interesting.

Cozy apartment for two people (+2 people). Separate entrance; underfloor heating; located on the outskirts of Hildburghausen with connection to the Werratal bike path. Baker in the immediate vicinity. Kitchen equipment: fridge, stove and dishwasher. A cozy terrace with grill is available to guests. We offer a fresh chicken egg from our chickens to each guest per day.

Small apartment of about 60 square meters. It has a living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, as well as one with 2 single beds), spacious kitchen with counter and bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. Guests have a cozy terrace at their disposal and the garden can also be used. A grill is of course available.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
