Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Ko Pha-ngan District

LOVED our stay at the Montra Resort. This property is literally a short two block walk from the pier and right in tucked into a beautiful location between the bustling pier side, restaurants, dive shops and the more tranquil Saari beach side restaurants and shops. In short, this location is really hard to beat. The staff were very accommodating and let us leave our bags while they readied the room and made it clear we were weclome to also use the pool, bathrooms and common showers (huge plus). We rented a scooter (400 Bhat) for 24 hours and spent the afternoon at Ao Leuk and Shark Bay - and yes, we saw a group of black tip sharks (24" long and no threat at all) and the reefs are decent in these locations. Check in was super smooth. The rooms are huge - we had a bed that was two full size beds pushed together - decent sheets, great AC, super spacious shower, bath tub and double sink - It was nice as a couple to spread out AND strong internet. A+ Host - Highly Recommended.

Ratchi is very friendly just like her sister. She was very helpful and offered to arrange a taxi to pick me up and all that. There was a little misunderstanding with the taxi twice which resulted in an hour wasted but this is to expected when traveling so... amazing stay overall

Great spot, well worth the cost. Good location, room at the back to park bikes off the road. private back patio with furniture. Would come back for sure!

We stayed four weeks at Lauren’s place and we were sad to leave. The flat is exactly as it looks in the photos: clean, spacious, and with a well-equipped kitchen. Both the bed and the sofa were both huge and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic. There are two washing machines in the complex, but we did our laundry at a place two minutes down the lane where the shopkeeper always had 10-baht coins in change. It takes about 30 mins to walk to Chaweng Beach. Initially, we were disappointed that the beach was further than we anticipated. But in the end we saw this as a positive: the neighbourhood is quiet, but still close to restaurants and a good supermarket. It’s also in the middle of a local residential neighbourhood, which we appreciated as much of Chaweng is relentless resorts. To go further, we used Grab. (note that taxis are relatively expensive in Samui). Do pack an HDMI cable as the TV in the flat isn’t a smart TV. Overall, great value for money in this price range.

Brian is an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and always willing to help. He arranged our pickup from Nathon Pier (since we took the ferry from Krabi) and can also help organize a motorbike, which we’d highly recommend for getting around (the hill is steep, but the location is worth it!). His guestbook is full of great recommendations, and his hospitality made our stay seamless. The condo itself is stunning, with unbeatable ocean and cliff views from the balcony—waking up to that scenery felt surreal! It’s also super spacious, clean, and just 2 minutes from Bo Phut Temple and 13 minutes from Fisherman’s Village (which we visited often). The pool area is lovely, and the whole place has a peaceful, luxurious vibe. We wish we could give 10 stars—for the price this was one of our favorite stays in Thailand, and we can’t wait to return. We had a lovely stay at Oshin’s place, it was clean and had everything we needed. Fans and air con were great and cooled the apartment quickly.

The place was clean and check-in was flexible. We got a lot of tips and recommendations for the counter from Patchara. Communication was flexible and friendly. The area is really nice, great restaurants with really good food. The pool invites you to go swimming right after getting up. From the balcony, you could watch beautiful sunsets. It was definitely worth the amount paid!

Lovely place to stay would Defintely stay again

Fiona's place was the perfect spot for my son and I during out first visit to Koh Samui. Although not far from restaurants and easily located, it still had a secluded vibe and feel. The pool and views are top notch. Fiona is very friendly, and accommodating. The staff at The Bay Condominiums are quite nice and helpful. I would recommend staying here to any friends visiting Samui and would love the opportunity to visit again.

I had a great stay at Anna and Courtney's place. They've turned a traditional Thai home into a lovely place to stay. The floor to ceiling windows bring so much light in and the pool was just lovely. There were a few small things that you'd expect from Thailand like the mozzies coming out in full force at 4pm but we hid from them so all good. Overall would definitely stay again. Thanks guys.

Stunning Villa, very clean with everything you could ask for and more! Owner really helpful and friendly nothing too much to ask. Local advice given to help your enjoyment. Close to supermarket and other local shops. Short taxi ride to Chaweng beach and fisherman’s village. An extremely enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Super nice villa! Quiet and peaceful area. Nice sauna and pool. Sikarin was a very helpful host. The housekeeper also a very jolly and friendly guy :)

Kim is an amazing host with world-class connections and advice. She gave the best suggestions. Kim is so very thoughtful and helpful. We hit it off right away. I have a food allergy and was able to cook in the house where I stayed. Kim and I walked about 14 minutes down the beach and I got the most amazing Thai massage right on the beach. A wonderful lady named Aon gave me 2 Thai massages, an herbal ball massage, a facial and 1 oil massage while I was there. Being a massage therapist myself for more than 15 years I'm picky about who I let work on me. Aon is well educated in massage and has been performing massage for 30 years. Just ask Kim, she can tell you how to get there. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kim's place Just across the street from her private beach and her home. 🤍🤍🤍

I spent 5 weeks here and couldn’t have been happier with my stay. The host was excellent throughout my stay with good communication and sorting any problems I had immediately. The apartment is in a great location just a short scooter ride to key areas on the island and a good gym just 30 second walk away. The apartment was cleaned to an excellent standard once a week. 100% recommend for long stay.

The owner was very responsive and helpful. Everything matched the description. The owner got us a BBQ for pretty much the whole stay. Location is not that good, there are couple local grocery shops in walking distance, but something decent like 7-Eleven is 13-15 minutes away. Other than that there is not much else you can go to by foot. Beach is not in walking distance. Overall for money paid the experience was great.

Everything was as described in the listing, the host was very welcoming and responsive to every inquiry. After arriving, a taxi was waiting to bring us to the place. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. Cleaning and change of towels done very well. Everything the landlord promised and fulfilled. Very satisfied - thank you.
