Peaceful cabin by the water

We are 3 brothers gathering once a year and this time we were here. We wanted an undisturbed and quiet place. Here, Øystein and his wife Rachel had made everything possible for us to have a nice stay. It was clean and tidy and linen/towels had been put on. We were above average lucky with the weather and could sit outside in the outdoor area where we grilled and sat comfortably in good outdoor furniture. We had a nice stay and fine for us brothers to disconnect from a hectic everyday life. Great experience and nice host w/wife who contributed to a good experience. An amazing cabin in the woods in front of the lake! Everything included in the description, was easily found! And we had every luxury a cabin in the woods could offer! Amazing experience and we definitely recommend it for everyone to try! Thank you Marius!

The wooden house makes a very beautiful impression and has a wonderful indoor climate. It is lovingly furnished, tastefully furnished. We were always there in winter and the cabin was still wonderfully warm is electrically heated and even has a working fireplace. in the living room there is a large window directly out to the lake, the view is so beautiful that you could sit on the sofa for hours to look out and contemplate the winter landscape. On the road about 150 m behind the hut, there is not too much traffic. You can also get used to the combustion toilet quickly. Malin and Simen are quickly reachable if there are any questions. For us, it was a beautiful stay in a really nice cabin!

We enjoyed Mette's house. It was a perfect place for us who have a dog and in quiet and peaceful surroundings, with good hiking opportunities. The house was just as described in the photos and we felt at home. We are excited for us to stay again this summer.

A very nice spot for spending some days in the area... super clean, and very comfortable! Right at the lake, with amazing viewers views, and paddle boards to use to explore! Lots of games and toys for kids. Thanks for sharing the place!

Beautiful home that was welcoming, festive and relaxing. Accessible to local towns and ameneties but still tucked well away in the countryside. We had a fabulous time and Veronica was quickly in touch to explain how to use equipment in the home. The kitchen was very well equipped, which made self catering for a large group very easy. Will visit again

A wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book again. It wasn’t completely clear that the host keeps some of his own belongings there including some of his Wine collection. We have not come across this before, but it was all fine. We will definitely rebook.

Jon was a fantastic host, who was always available for questions. He was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. The accommodation was in a great location, so we could enjoy the tranquility on the river. The facilities in the house left nothing to be desired. On the first day, Jon even brought us eggs, which we could then enjoy for breakfast every day. Jon also offered us the use of the canoes or fishing. All in all, the accommodation and Jon are fully recommended as a host. We would definitely come back !

A very nice house in a vacation complex. We had a great time as a family with three children. Everyone had their own bed. The house was fully equipped and nothing was missing. Highly recommended. Clean and tidy.

Absolutely perfect and beautiful. Fabulous location near a small lake. Lovely and quiet with stunning views. So easy to get too from Oslo airport even in the snow! Warm, cosy and had everything we needed. Such stunning. I can’t recommend this place enough Host was always responsive and even got shopping in for as arriving over new year. A wonderful family holiday we look forward to coming back
