From there, you can walk to the main square where the weekly (Saturday before 13h00) fresh market is located with a wonderful choice of vegetables, fruits, flowers and other local products. The main train station is also accessible, Brussels and Antwerp are only 20 mn away with direct lines. A place for bikes is available, a local supermarket is also nearby as well as relaxing cafes and restaurants. Finally, the National Airport of Zaventem can be reached in 15 mn by taxi when there is no traffic.

Rural and very quiet location in the Antwerp southern edge but still close to Lier (9 km), Mechelen (12 km) and Antwerp (15 km). Next to the house is the nature reserve "Oude spoorwegberm". There are also several hiking and biking trails nearby. There is a large living room with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath and 3 bedrooms for 7 guests. ** PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BOOKING ** The flat is located on the 2nd floor (USA: 3rd floor) on a quiet street in the green residential area of Wilrijk. Both bedrooms face the street but there's very little traffic. It's bright and cozy. The living areas are in a large open-space design. No upstairs neighbours. There is no elevator, no cable TV, no microwave, and no A/C. I'm the host of two identical flats on the two floors below, which, if available, can be combined.
