Built in 1734 as a Truchsesserei of County Sponheim, the Baroque building with large windows, high ceilings and wide rooms offers a very special atmosphere, which is underlined by the loving furnishings.The apartment for 4 persons measures approx. 90 sqm and has 1 bedroom, 1 living room/bedroom, kitchen with dining area,  Rieslinglounge,  bathroom and an outdoor patio in the idyllic courtyard and garden. The house is located in the historic centre of Enkirch directly on the Moselsteig.

We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. The apartment with 1 bedroom for up to 2 people (double bed) is located on the 2nd floor in a former winery. It is spacious, bright and fully furnished. Price : 50,- € for 2 pers. incl. Linens and towels. Each additional person €20.00. For larger groups, the studio can be booked via a staircase in the apartment with up to 4 more sleeping places (1 bed 140x200, 1 single bed, 1 sofa bed (per person €20 extra charge).
