Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

Downstairs is owners residence, a large front lawn with a fire place, as well as a shared laundry. Breakfast, coffee and tea facilities are provided let us know if you have any special requirements. We can also provide other meals at reasonable cost, Oza works in a kitchen and loves cooking delicious food. We offer hiking transfers and maps if you want to do some walks.

Our serene abode is a 5 min drive or a pleasant 30-40 min stroll to the picturesque village of Kuranda and the mighty Barron Falls. Quite secluded location with elevated 180 degree views. Caravonica is a central location to a number of attractions around the Cairns area. You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.
