We came to Canada for the collation of our son's grades in Chicoutimi. We wanted a quiet and unique place to stay. We found this pearl in Pierre Luc and Jean François's home. Had a great cozy winter getaway in this delightful cabin!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet by the river. The house is extremely well appointed and equipped. Very clean! Everything is well thought out and anticipated. We enjoyed the little extras in the kitchen ( spices, coffee, enough to make coffee to take away) and in the bathroom ( necessary for feminine hygiene, troubleshooting toothbrush...).

We recently stayed here for our March break and it was an amazing week. Beautiful lake, lots of walking trails and super private and away from the busy city. Accommodations were excellent. Lots of room for a big family or several couples. I would highly recommend this place, anytime of year. Thank you again Julie and Jean

I had a fabulous time staying at The Nellie. Surrounded by the entrancing Gatineau River, The Nellie is an ideal place for those looking for a secluded escape. The Gatineau River essentially creates an archipelago, with countless islands to photograph and explore. Lac-Sainte-Marie is accessible by canoe or kayak, though I would recommend bringing a physical map and compass to avoid getting lost. The Nellie is a perfect option for those who want a unique, rustic experience. Keep in mind, there's no electricity or running water, so plan your meals accordingly. Extremely charming nonetheless. If you are less comfortable with a canoe/kayak I would recommend staying at The Dragon. Transportation to either location is available. I didn't meet Bonnie or Jaques, but I did meet Andrew! He was respectful and punctual, very communicative and easy-going. He's a really solid dude. I will plan my next trip to The Nellie in the near future. I already miss it!

We had an excellent stay at nico’s place and especially enjoyed the sauna and spa. Nico was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire trip. Thanks again to Nico for everything! :)

We loved our stay in this beautiful chalet. The places were accurate to the photos and description. The kitchen was particularly well equipped, the beds very comfortable and the places very clean. Communication with Jessica was impeccable. We'll be happy to go back and definitely recommend this place to stay.

We brought our parents for a family getaway in celebration of their 60th anniversary and we loved staying at Jill's cottage. It's very comfortable and relaxing with such beautiful scenery. Jill is a wonderful host and always there to answer any questions. We highly recommend this cottage. We'll definitely go back again.

Always a pleasure to return to this place, Always as pleasant. The place is perfect between Quebec City and Trois-Rivières overlooking the river.

Absolutely stunning location, especially for golf enthusiasts. Very peaceful and serene, waterfront, the Jacuzzi was fantastic and the quality of the TVs and living space setup was also great!!! If I had to give it ONE constructive criticism, is simply that the pool table is a little outdated and there isn’t enough space to play properly as you hit the walls and ceiling. But that’s simply because we are avid pool players. The beds were comfortable, so were the couches. I def recommend and I already did so to many of my friends and coworkers. Would return 💯

Very nice accommodation and very comfortable. Close to the north side of Mont-Tremblant, very convenient. The stay was very pleasant. I'll go back and recommend it to my friends.

This is our Second time staying at this location! Once again we had a wonderful ski vacation. The place is always spotless and includes everything needed and more. I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. Amazing place to have our family Christmas getaway in such a secluded beautiful paradise on the lake! The best stocked kitchen, it had over an above what we needed for making the holiday right.

We had a lovely weekend at Kay's place. This cottage is not new and that's what makes it charming, it is warm, comfortable and well equipped! The view from the cottage of the snowy trees and the banks of the river was very beautiful. The garden must surely be very nice in summer. Kay was responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks!

Exceptional stay in winter in this very comfortable and warm cottage. The view of the Saint Lawrence is crazy and changes every day. Access may seem complicated but ultimately there is no problem and if the ice threatened to prevent us from passing our host immediately ordered a snow plow. Recommended for the geographic location! Amazing vacation!!! Thank you

Great value for the area, close drive to Tremblant and Mont Blanc. Comfortably fit three couples with plenty of room to spare, would come back again!

Completely isolated on a running river, surrounded by forest- this private paradise is not to be missed. The incredible location is equally matched with a modern, fully equipped home. This vacation rental is not to be missed.
