The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

This villa is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the Mediterranean climate of southern Ardèche. The rivers flow nearby, for all aquatic pleasures; the trails and paths unfold their loops for cycling, walking, horseback riding. The bowels of the earth are spectacular and thousands of years old.

On the edge of the forest, our 40 m² cottage with 40 m² terrace, 2 km from the village of Lablachère, adjoining the owners' house but without overlooking, is completely fenced with a private garden. Access to the pool is shared with the owners and pets are welcome. 20 km from the Ardèche gorges, hikers and mountain bikers will have a choice for their walks. Many trails start from the cottage, also ideal for mushroom lovers with our advice!
