“The place was so beautiful, the kids enjoyed being able to get outside, go to the park, and the walks down to the pier. The house was much more then I had expected and we loved they stay so much we extend our stay. The Hosts were very nice and easy to to get ahold of enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend this place for a get away from the busy city life.”
We are happy to share our Lakefront Property in Alberta Beach with a breathtaking view of Lac Ste Anne.
“Breathtaking view is the statement to go with. My family had such a beautiful stay and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. we were able to bring our boat and got out on the water all three days. Fish were of abundance, I reccommend getting special tags for Lac St Anne if you can get your draw (for those hard-core wranglers out there) ;) your welcome. If you have a boat, I reccommend visiting rock island-the sounds of the pelicans, geese, sparrows, ducks... It's an unreal experience -- bring a video camera with, trust me. The property easily entertained us, Netflix, Wi-Fi, VERY high-end cookware, the furniture was all well taken care of. The views you get to wake up to are stunning, and the key part of it all is.... You got it! Having enough space and enough space there was! All within 45 minutes of home. Thanks Wilma and family for a great stay! We will absolutely be back again”
Welcome to our beautiful modern-rustic year-round Cabin; set on our 40-acre rural residence. At Back To The Woods, you'll have all that nature has to offer. Enjoy the nearby lakes; we're 45 min west of Edmonton on the way to the Rocky Mountains, Jasper, Banff! We welcome your well-behaved dogs as long as they can get along with our dogs, who are mostly kenneled during guest stays. Please take note that there is a minimum three-night stay on long weekends/two-night stay on weekends. Thank you.
“My wife and I and a group of friends wanted to find a getaway close to Edmonton where we could relax after a long work week. We booked Wendy's cabin as it had everything we wanted - enough space for 3 couples, outdoor games (horse shoes, ping pong, darts) and a lovely cozy interior with a great kitchen. Even though it looked great on paper, it was somehow even better when we got there. Wendy greeted us after we had settled in, was very friendly, explained the amenities to us, and gave us a warm welcome. The cabin itself is cozy and warm, with a beautiful fireplace in the living room. Wendy has stocked the place with everything you need, including plenty of firewood (we never ran out), coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. There were pots and pans, a coffee machine, two stoves, including a very nice gas stove, and a spacious kitchen for preparing meals. The rooms were cozy and quaint, with warm bedding and nice touches like candy on the pillows when we arrived. The bathroom is clean and has lots of supplies (shampoo, soap, candles, etc). There are also lots of board games, puzzles, and DVDs for downtime in the cabin. Not only was the cabin itself wonderful, but there were plenty of outdoor activities. We stayed in October so it was a bit chilly but we bundled up and went outside to play horseshoes, ride the zip line, and built a fire in the outdoor fire pit. There is also a covered (but still outdoors) pavilion area with a ping pong table and dart board. She has a basketball net off to the side of the cabin and anything you need to play games - footballs, basketballs, ladder ball set, etc. You will never be bored! (Oh and there's a BBQ out there too for grilling up food.) In short, we have already decided we will be back again. It's only 45-60 minutes from Edmonton and feels like you're far away from the hustle and bustle. It's cozy, quiet, and has all the activities you need for a relaxing getaway with family and friends. I would highly recommend it!”
