“I had a very nice stay at Kate and Mike’s lakeside cottage. Although there was a slight problem with the key at check in, Kate and Mike were easy to reach and took care of the problem immediately. The space itself is wonderful—I’ve stayed at some nice places through Airbnb over the past few years, but this has to be one of the nicest ones. It had basically everything you could want for a pleasure or business trip, and the entire cottage was sparklingly clean. It looks like the cottage was newly built and everything in the space looked like it was new as well, although I didn’t get to use much of it. As with my previous stays in the area, I was here on a work trip, so I was mainly interested in having a comfortable workspace and having access to the highway as well as grocery stores and restaurants. Although the cottage is a little bit removed from I-5 and the 101, it is very close to the Yelm Highway, which has Safeway, QFC, Walmart, and both fast food and sit-down restaurants. One small note--Google Maps might point you toward a nearby mobile home community, which is not where Kate and Mike’s place is, so it’s best to check in during daylight and follow Kate and Mike’s directions if they conflict with Google Maps. This was the last of my Olympia-area work stays through Airbnb for the time being, so it was a pleasant note to end on. And I didn’t even mind the train, which you can hear and even feel as it goes by, but it was not a problem at all—if you're in the right mindset, it's actually kind of fun.”

“This place was by far the best place I’ve stayed at!!! It was sparkling clean and stocked with goodies, tons of very large nice towels, a tv in every room!! The beds were top notch comfy. Great place for kids!!! The hot tub was so comfy. And you wouldn’t think of how private it is when u pull up but it’s really private and the woods were deeper then they appeared and keep your eyes peeled for hidden benches in the woods and art in yard!!! The hosts were only there during check in but they are hip and very loving !!! I didn’t really want to leave lol! The cleanest place ever!!! There’s no way Covid would ever survive Danica’s cleaning !!! Not one spot missed. Ohhh her snacks trays are beyond yummy and fancy!!! The pool table was a blast and the WiFi is super fast!!! It was worth the price!”
