“What got our attention was the A Frame home and unbelievable affordability of this location- we thought there had to be a catch BOY WERE WE WRONG! This place is PERFECT! Before we even arrived communication was quick and kind ( no matter how many questions I had ), upon arrival you’re warmly welcomed and it sounds crazy but it felt like we’d known David and Elaine for years sitting there talking with David. They are there for you and David even shared knowledge of the Suwannee River there’s also a map of the local springs located inside the home. We used this stay as a couples retreat and we couldn’t have imagined a better trip. The home was spotless and had every kitchen utensil/pot & pan we needed and more! We spent our time on the kayaks floating our way down to the river (David even helped us by picking us up on the boat after thinking we passed the boat ramp nearing sundown lol) , then socializing on the hammock and chairs while grilling steaks. We then ended the evening with a beautiful patio dinner and made s’mores using the fire pit. The loft is adorable and bed is cozy, waking you up to the most breathtaking views. Before checking out we enjoyed our morning routine and the sounds of the wildlife on the back patio once again. I loved the personal touches (especially the red book where we were sure to leave our note too!), it truly felt we were at home. Even after one night we felt completely renewed after spending it at this gorgeous home. You get to enjoy the scenery, nature, and seclusion- all while knowing if anything happens David and Elaine are there for you. We WILL be back and loved the experience thank you SO much for having us!”

“This was my first experience at an airbnb and I'm glad Doug's was my first. He really set the expectations high for future reservations with an airbnb. He had a full kitchen with utensils. It was set back into the woods and backed up to the river it was so quiet. Outside area chairs were tipped to protect from rain so sitting there for breakfast was easy after a storm. He's super friendly with lots of information on the area. Such a reasonable price and within great locations of some many springs, so if you dont want to camp and want a quiet rustic stay his place is it. In another note, I left my new set of headphones there and he was so kind to ship them back to me. On another, my friend was so impressed with her visit to the airbnb that she plans on bringing her husband back to fish on the river”

“Sydney’s place is a wonderful slice of heaven! The cabin is very cozy and well-kept. It has all of the amenities that you need (and then some) to enjoy your trip to the fullest. It is very quiet, well-kept and cozy. I took my two boys there 4 and 7 over Easter. We spent time making campfires, walking the nature trails, swimming in nearby springs, fishing off the dock, swinging into the river off the rope swing, enjoying the whirlpool in the evening, playing board game after board game that she has on hand, Listening to the radio and just connecting with one another. Even though there is a TV there, my boys remained so busy that they were able to unplug from any electronics for four days and be engaged in their surroundings and all that Sydney’s place has to offer. They LOVED having their own loft to sleep in :) Sydney has a tree stand on property so that you can climb up and enjoy the woods/wildlife, A really cool library of fiction and nonfiction books, board and card games, plenty of firewood and other small touches to make your stay extra pleasant. Whatever it may be, relaxing in the living room watching TV, enjoying a book on the screened in back porch, sitting out by the campfire, watching the woods wake up from the view of the tree stand, enjoying sitting down on the private dock watching the sunset with your feet up or relaxing in the world pool with some eucalyptus, Sydney’s place has something to offer you if you’re looking for a beautiful getaway. Me and my boys loved it!”
