Charming, homestyle 1BR/1BA cabin (Unit #2 with a queen bed and full-size sofa bed) nestled right next to Grass Lake at Chain-O-Lakes. Perfect for a couple/family getaway, or staycation while chill-laxing by the lake. New cooking appliance. Start the day with a breathtaking sunrise and enjoy the afternoon with fun-filled water activities and the floating deck. We conduct regular pest treatment to keep pests away, but being close to nature and the lake, expect occasional bugs in warmer weather.

Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and our lake. This is a single-family home on a neighborhood lake. We are next to a private launch for residents only. We have a large fire pit with seating. Excellent fishing (with an IL fishing license) our pier is in June through September. A short drive gets you to every store you can imagine in Antioch, we are 15 minutes from Gurnee Mills, one of the largest malls in the U.S. as well as Six Flags Great America amusement park. There is also ice fishing.

Oak and Pine surround you plus a stone fireplace, it feels like the North Woods. The A Frame guest house shares a 5 acre compound ( total 20 Acres) with the owners residence and caretaker cottage. The Volo Bog 800ft away. No hot tub Nov - May. Swimming pool, June-October often cool to use in early June.

Hensley’s Cornerstone, Lakefront.

I affectionately refer to this house as “The House That Built Me.” Referencing (of course) the title of country artist Miranda Lamberts hit song, from 2010. The lyrics couldn’t be more accurate. My name is Crystal, and this is The House That Built Me. My father bought this property in 1970. He married my mother and her two children in 1976. I was brought home from the hospital in 1977 & raised here with my siblings, until eventually we all married and left home.
