Vacation rentals with a firepit in Lake County

This was our 3rd time staying at Mark's place. He is an amazing host and the place is amazing! Beautiful views of the river! Beautiful house! Everything is always perfect!

Excellent get away. I wanted a weekend to recover after a busy spring where I could feel relaxed. This is it. Literally no cell service (was able to get messages to the sitter via the excellent internet), there is a camp ground that is across the way, but when you’re in the backyard you feel like people no longer exsist. Quiet, tranquil and just what I needed. Brought food to cook in the well stocked kitchen. We didn’t leave because we didn’t need to. We will definitely be back.

house was very nice overall. few rooms were a little outdated. beds were no 5 star beds but it's a place to lay your head at night. overall would recommend again. communication was great.

My husband and I had such a great time. Michael was great host, very responsive and had plenty of amenities! I look forward to visiting again!!

This is our second time renting with Bob! He’s always helpful, responsive and the rental is amazingly nice and clean.

Nina’s place was wonderful! We enjoyed the cozy cabin, hot tub, fire pit, and mostly the local trail system. We highly recommend Nina’s cabin. They had everything we needed or could have needed. Thank you!

The location was perfect! Just up the road from some family we were up visiting for thanksgiving!! We were comfortable and felt right at home during our stay! She left little gifts for the kids and treats for the dogs when we arrived! She was also very responsive to any questions I had!

We had a blast! Just a couple min walk to town, but property was tucked back and private by the river. All details were thought out and made a comfortable stay. After a day of fishing and exploring the bed was dreamy! Great family memories were made!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

Troy's place was amazing! It was very comfortable, stayed cool at night, very roomy, plenty of tvs, had an amazing fireplace, it's secluded, it was everything we were looking for! Troy was super awesome and answered any questions we had, and gave us fishing advice!

Gorgeous lake views and backyard access to lake. Perfect balance of fun and relaxation for the whole family. House was great and host was responsive. Convenience store/take-out restaurant 5-minute drive. Limited grocery/sundry options so it’s worth stocking up at the supermarket on the way in.

Very clean, supper easy to talk to for questions and check in/out. Really nice to just relax and supper close to snowmobiling/atv trail heads and close enough to stores

Matthew was an excellent host, who responded to my questions quickly. I had all the information I needed to make the stay seamless. Super easy to get to the river, and went fishing a couple of times a day, with an easy walk back to the cabin to nap or eat. Excellent fishing spots all around.

My family and I took a fishing trip to Baldwin/ Idlewild and we stayed at Ashley and Ryan's place it was so relaxing and beautiful we all talked about how we wish we could live somewhere like that. I highly recommend, the hosts were outstanding and pups were adorable and extremely friendly!

Great cabin with plenty of room and amenities! I look forward to coming back and staying again.

We had a wonderful and restful time at Krista’s and were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves for three days. The resort is rustic and exactly what you’d expect in a cabin. The lodge was well-supplied with movies, games and other fun entertainment. The grounds are lovely and the lake is a delight to swim in. There were canoes available, as well as a couple of paddle boats. Lots of great fishing and some sweet, friendly turtles. I could see this as a great place for family reunions. Lots for the kids to do. Really, the kind of place where you make memories. We will be back! Thanks, Krista!

Wonderful place to stay. The check in process was very easy for my first time staying at an Airbnb. The bedrooms, kitchen, living and linens were clean. I would definitely stay here again when I visit this area again.
