Vacation rentals with a firepit in Lake Joseph

My group and I had an amazing weekend getaway at Michelle’s!! We really appreciated the special touches and the space was even better than the photos! This property really has a charming vibe. The beds are sooo comfortable and there’s great space to lounge around. Very close to town and we had a nice time shopping and sight-seeing. We also enjoyed the scenic trails that were close by. We can’t thank Michelle and her team enough, the communication was outstanding and they were very quick to problem-solve and get back to us with anything we needed and any questions we had! This team really ensured that we had the best experience possible and it was greatly appreciated because we truly had a lovely time! Can’t recommend enough and would love to enjoy what this property has to offer again in the future! Thank you again for everything Michelle!! 🫶🏼

After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

Booked this place for a cottage trip and we had the best time ever there! Amanda was super accommodating to our needs and the house was in great condition!

The cottage is so cozy and clean. The space had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with our dogs. The neighborhood is great and so close to the beach which would be a great perk in the summer.

Ballard Cabin was the perfect getaway! It has a warm, rustic hunting cabin vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space is incredibly cozy, with a super comfy couch and a great collection of books to browse through. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location was also perfect: just minutes from town and a short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we spent the weekend skating. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend! Thanks, Luca!

We had an amazing time at Hala's place, it is in the most majestic cottage setting less than an hour from the city. there is lots to do around the area and we enjoyed a day at the nearby Vetta Spa. Hala is an excellent host who was very responsive and was very flexible when it came to both check in and check out times. I would highly recommend a stay at Hala's place, we very comfortably slept 6 people for a bachelor party weekend and the cottage could even probably accommodate a slightly larger group. Thanks again for making our weekend Hala!

We rented Lyle’s place for 2 months while working on a contract in the Huntsville area. Was a great long term place to stay. Had everything we needed plus lots more. Lyle was always extremely responsive with messages and seemed happy to accommodate our stay.

I stayed in the cottage for one night in a cozy one-room setup, and it was such a lovely experience. The place was beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting — it felt like a perfect little retreat. We had a lovely stay at Stu and Heather’s place. It was clean, the property is beautiful and the kitchen was so well stocked. We were in town for a show at Casino Rama and it was great to be off the beaten path but still close after a late night. Stu greeted us when we checked in and gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant. We look forward to coming back should an opportunity arise.

We loved the place! It was beautifully decorated and everything was really great quality. The resort is quiet and I felt very safe. They even left a surprise bag of popcorn which was a cute little delight we got to share. Sounds kind of dumb but places really aren’t putting in effort these days. We had some trouble and the host and cohosts were very quick to respond and fix. We enjoy Friday Harbour and would stay at their place again the next time we visit.

We had an unforgettable stay with Leslie and Ian . The view from the apartment was gorgeous in the snowy February weather . We felt deeply comfortable and protected from the elements inside. Equipped with Amazon Alexa , my fiancée and I got the opportunity to enjoy our books to peaceful music and set a soundtrack to our morning routines . In the winter months , as Leslie and Ian state in their ad , winter tires or all wheel drive are a must for the steep driveway . Before a big night planned at Tall Trees restaurant, my Nissan with all season tires got stuck in the snow on the driveway . Ian immediately came to our aid and assisted us with the many tools at his disposal , freeing us from the snowbank and saving our night . This kindness and hospitality will not be forgotten . An excellent stay !

Great weekend getaway spot for our little family. The pool, playground and pathways for the kids to bike were perfect. We had a dog with us and the grassy space made for easy trips out. The room was clean, check in was easy, and Tim was super responsive. Would definitely book again.

Olga’s place is absolutely amazing! From start to finish it was a breeze communicating with her! Her beautiful apartment was extremely spotless upon arrival - almost like brand new! Everything you could need. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are so soft! Her decorations are very tasteful! The balcony is super cute and clean! The view is great. I had a great nights sleep - no noise! She was very accommodating to any needs I had. The internet is also great for working from home with fast speeds! The pictures really do look EXACTLY as advertised which is refreshing! One of the best places I have stayed in through AIR BNB. I’d 100% recommend Olga’s place to anyone and I’ll definitely be back in the future! :)

Elijah’s place was very spacious, homey, clean, and as described; the bed was very comfortable and all the appliances worked as described; we didn’t need to ask for anything additionally and they were kind enough to offer us a checkout time of 12pm which meant we didn’t need to rush in the morning; will highly recommend to everyone wanting to visit the local trails, beautiful patches of nature and Vettä spa, as it’s practically walking distance

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cabin! Liz and Craig were wonderful and accommodating hosts and always quick to respond. My 5 year old loved the trampoline, was obsessed with the Hot Tub, and we all loved visits from Honey. It was the perfect family getaway. The cottage is clean and the beds are comfy! We look forward to coming back!

Andrew was such an amazing host! When we arrived at his cozy comfortable cabin, we were welcomed with a fire in the wood stove! It was a little chilly so having a fire started for us demonstrated Andrew’s kindness & thoughtfulness. There was firewood ready too, when we needed it. His cabin was exactly how we pictured it from the photos and description. Being there away from everyone and noise was heaven. The cabin has everything you would require! I was impressed with the fridge, stove and kettle- We are used to a bare cabin, so Andrew’s cabin is luxury. The outhouse was very clean! The beautiful creek had copious cold and clear water running and I loved boiling the water… that was a great experience. Andrew was also so kind in having some water ready for us so that we didn’t have to haul! Thank you Andrew!! He provided us lots of information about the history of his land and the cabin. We all loved walking on his property especially our doggies! We felt rejuvenated! We will be back!

A hidden paradise. Just amazing! The cabin is a dream. It even looks so much nicer inside then on the pictures. Very clean and comfy. And outside- oh we just loved the private trails on their property, the dogs had the time of their life. This was just a perfect long weekend and we will be back in the summer for sure!!! “Hostess with the mostest” is an understatement for Sandra. When she says all you need to bring is your overnight bag and groceries, she means it! Her and Dejay are lovely people, offering an incredible getaway. The attention to detail and commitment to their guests is unmatched. 10/10 would recommend and return!

Fantastic spot for a getaway! Everything was spotless, comfortable and exactly as expected! The cottage is in a great location, close to lots of trails and lots of things to do. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our night in the cabin. Simply stunning views and setting. Cassie was proactively helpful and communicative before we came. And getting to the cabin couldn’t have been easier. We’d love to stay again one day.
