Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake Michigan Beach

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Upon arrival, there was some kind of misunderstanding with the cleaning people and it looked like our unit was not cleaned prior to arriving. We arrived pretty late but Michael responded very fast to my message and was able to get this taken care of right away for us. He was very accommodating and helpful. He sent multiple messages prior to the arrival date with helpful instructions on entering the unit and parking. The space itself was great and perfect for two people. Walking distance from the little downtown area and the river. We enjoyed our time in South Haven and would stay here again if we ever visited again!

me and my fiance stayed just a few days and I didn’t want to leave! The space was even better than expected. Having almost everything you’d need to cook, plenty of towels, clean bedding. It was so clean and beautiful inside and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Felt just like home. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful as well. We will 100% be back!

Michelle's place has great access to the Bay area and greatly renovated. The primary bedroom with bath is gorgeous especially with heated tile floor. The second bedroom was a bit small but it was also comfortable. The second bath was behind the kitchen so the couple who used the second bedroom has to walk through the living room and the kitchen but it was not a big deal. We felt the coffee table in the living room was a bit small for four of us but again not a big deal at all. One thing we have noticed was the linen are high quality! And we paid the great price probably because it is early (water in Michigan lake was still pretty cold). Neighborhood restaurants were great and kitchen has all the tools and dishes for our first night dinner. We wished that we had access to outdoor grill but maybe it will be available during the summer. Great stay in small coastal town in WI. Highly recommended!

What a hidden gem! Super cozy, quiet and felt right at home upon arrival. Great location within walking distance of all of the downtown restaurants and shops. Cant wait to visit again!

Holly and Mark are great hosts. Very responsive and went above and beyond to offer additional help and recommendations for travel, food, etc during our stay.

Walkable neighborhood. Great restaurants and 2 museums in walking distance. Enjoyed the relaxing apartment while being in Racine.

This trip was a Christmas gift to Grandpa and Grandma from the adult kids. We had plenty of space for eight adults! This is an older home, renovated, but with the charm intact! The accomodations are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked. It is noteworthy, both full bathrooms are downstairs and all four bedrooms, and a half bath, are upstairs. We really enjoyed riding bikes across the street to watch the sunset, grilling out steaks one evening and watching the day go by while swinging on the porch. We spent a day in nearby Holland to see the tulips and strolled the nearby streets of South Haven. Mike was easy to communicate with and we had the pleasure of meeting him! If the opportunity presents, we'll certainly return to this rental!

Well-maintained house, spotless upon arrival, great view of the area from the kitchen. Ice machine was a great touch especially with a bunch of people in the house! Would definitely come back!

We had a great time at Tim’s cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It is in a great location, close to everything that southwest Michigan has to offer.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this rental! It the perfect size and location to all of the shops downtown and very accessible to the beach. The host was very responsive and so helpful with our stay. Highly recommend for a lovely weekend getaway!

This place was perfect for a friends getaway from Chicago!! We loved the fire pits and cozy vibe throughout the property. So lovely all the dog’s life decor❤️ We really enjoyed being so close to Three Oaks, Union Pier, and Warren Dunes! Thank you Pam, you were a great host!!

House was clean upon arrival, their suggestions for things to do in the area were helpful and check in/check out was super easy and convenient.

The house is very nice for large families/groups with a ton of space, rooms and beds. The private beach access really makes this house worth it as you can walk out into the backyard and be at the beach in a few minutes! Everything was clean and very nice and I would definitely stay here again if I ever have the opportunity!

We had a great time here. The condo is in a good location and very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t utilize the pool or hot tub but we did scope it out. It looks like a great area to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor.

This is the third time my friend and I have stayed at Debbie and Jeff's condo for a long weekend. We love the location - it is so easy to walk to coffee, food, shops, or by the water. The condo itself is super nice, clean, and comfortable. We will be back again!

Bob is a great host! This was our 3rd year staying at the Book Mark, we will be back next year for our annual fall get away!! The coffee & smoothies are fabulous, the baristas are so nice and helpful, the 10% discount on items in the bookstore is a great benefit and we try to take advantage of it each time we stay! We stayed here for a weekend away as a family. The view of the lake and beaches were amazing as well as the park right in the backyard. The place itself had everything we needed and was the perfect space for a get away weekend.

This was our second time staying at Allison’s condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed our time hanging out there with our family. It’s spacious, clean and close to the downtown. Thank you, Allison, for another wonderful stay!

Lisa’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway. My wife and I would definitely rebook this place for a future visit. The skybridge to the brewery and other shops was a nice touch and allowed us to get to the Main Street in town with ease.

Very clean, super beautiful spot. The whole city is walkable and as pet friendly as Brenden's place. Though, Brenden set a new standard for me when it comes to communication and customer service. There was a freak gas outage for over 5500 homes and businesses this weekend. And, even though this was something that was completely out of their control, we were met with empathy and compassion. Knowing we were there for a wedding we were generously offered to shower at Brenden 's home.. And, even though it wasn't expected and they certainly didn't have to, Brenden refunded us some money for the inconvenience. To me, it says a lot about a person to do the right thing even when they don't have to. Long story, short...this is an amazing place to book with incredible customer service!
