A renovated 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. It has a completely fenced in yard with lots of room to play and a large back deck to watch it all happen. *We allow 2 small or 1 medium well behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained dog.s. The Red Cabin at Split Rock

Our cabin provides comfort, privacy and a convenient base for exploring nearby Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and the surrounding area. A historic ice house dating back to the early 1900s, the cabin has been renovated to feature a cozy loft, bathroom and comfortable indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Nestled in a quiet, wooded setting with easy access to hiking trails, paddling, and local shops, it’s the perfect retreat for couples, solo travelers, or small families seeking a peaceful getaway.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water.
