Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake Rotorua / Te Rotorua nui ā Kahumatamomoe

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth stay. The location was perfect—close to everything I wanted to explore, yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy and hassle-free place to stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Thank you to these kind and generous hosts, they both were so easy to talk with and so helpful. It was a perfect place to have a break at, I just wish that I could have stayed for longer. Lovely stay, clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Our fur baby was also welcome which we appreciated a lot! You’re right near private access to the beautiful papamoa beach. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us :)

The location is quiet and comfortable and the hosts very welcoming. Love it. Every time we stay we find another eatery that welcomes our dog. This time Rosie's red hot cantina. Great margaritas in walking distance. We recommend.

Kelsey was an excellent host—responsive and provided clear instructions, making check-in seamless. The penthouse was stunning, exceptionally clean, and felt just like home, with comfortable beds that made for a restful stay. The location couldn’t have been better for us to catch up with family — also just a short walk across the road to the beach. Highly recommend!

Great stay, clean, everything you need and close to the beach.

Great price for a really exoensive area. Stone throw to local beach and local mall is short drive. Melanie exceeded all communication communicatoon, even offered us a late check-out as they didnt have a subsequent booking. Pictures were a very accurate depiction of the place, clean, tidy, with lots of little extras that are easily forgotton. Such as face clothes, soap, dishwashing powder, cooking equipment etc... Great place to stay at and would not only use again myself but actively recommend to others. A++

It was a good fit for our whole family, including our small dog. The location was a highlight, with the beach just a short walk away. The living area was cosy and worked really well for relaxing and watching movies on the rainy days.

Dave was communicative and flexible, and the place was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Yolande and Pat’s place was a great stay for my family for a peaceful getaway! A hands throw away from the beach. Safe area. Comfortable beds. All amenities available as described and hosts are friendly and very responsive to messages + had great food recommendations which we checked out. Loved our stay overall and will recommend it to friends and family.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

Lovely peaceful apartment, with lovely views. We were visiting relative so didn’t spend too much time in the apartment as we were visiting family but it was perfectly kitted out, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook.

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

This is the second time I staid at Trudi’s place and both times I felt right at home. Trudi is so great and made me feel so comfortable! The space is beautiful and cozy and in a great spot. Close to lots of restaurants and the beach!! I will definitely bring back! Thanks Trudi xx
