Vacation rentals in Lake Thunderbird

For this being our first Airbnb for my work crew it was a perfect fit for me and 3 others. The couch pulling out into a bed was a huge help. It was perfect for what we needed for the work week.

Andrea was super responsive and helpful for our whole stay and the cabin was so clean and cozy!

Beautiful home right on the water. Open layout is great for a large family.

Shelley's place was great to stay at. Great place for our furbabies they felt at home This place is not for everyone though, you have to be able to relax and enjoy nature and being in a very private, secluded & very cozy. There was a storm on our last night and we lost power but there were plenty of candles to keep the cabin lit and to be honest it just added to our experience there not to mention that the power people came to the remote cabin just to make sure we were ok and let us know that a pole had been brought down by a tree and that has never happened to us before. If you are looking to get away from everything and be left alone then this is the place for you. Shelley was very responsive with all our questions during our stay, we stayed a week here. Oh the fire place works great and so does the wifi. It's a great rustic cabin in the middle of the woods surrounded by peace and quiet. Cabin was very nice, well stocked and in a great, end of road location which allowed for a peaceful and isolated setting. Close enough to town to quickly get to the restaurants we like in Mammoth Spring and Thayer. Will definitely stay at Wes's cabin again when we go back to this area.

I was detoured by alot of road closures due to weather. Crystal helped me navigate through some very complicated detours

My family travels in the States •a lot• and almost always prefer an Airbnb over a hotel — and it’s houses like this that makes us feel that way! The hosts are quick to respond with any questions & are very friendly & It was easy to find with GPS directions. The house is exactly like the pictures: cozy with a modern updated look & extra clean feel. Of all the places I have ever stayed — ever — this one had the absolute best shower!! Perfect water pressure & extra hot water that never seemed to run out! I maybe would book this place again for a couple of nights by myself just for this shower 🤣 The kitchen was well-stocked & had everything we needed for dining in. We’re already planning to return & when we do, I’m looking forward to enjoying the fire pit and coffee on the porch. One thing to note is that the property is secluded with the exception of the neighbor’s home directly beside this one; however, we still felt perfectly comfortable with privacy in tact! Definitely recommend!

It's easy to tell that these folks work in the education field based on how thorough and organized the guest info binder was! It was a great touch on top of an already great place!

Drew was a fantastic host who perfectly described the house and location so we would know what to expect. We were doing a trial with our 2 pups (that we've not traveled with before) and this was the perfect place to take them. Not many homes have fenced in yards and we had to have that. Drew's place did and the fence was perfect. High enough and no holes or issues in the fence so our doggies were safe when they were out. We only tried the Artisan Grill for food, going back a couple of times as it was so good. Walked the neighborhood with our 2 pups and it was very peaceful and serene. Even though we did not go into the water or use the kayaks, having the water just across the street made it seem even more peaceful. We highly recommend Drew's place. Very convenient. Very nice touches by the owner (chocolates on your pillow) and very responsive to questions. Will plan to return!
