The kindest people you could ever meet. We stayed at Memory Lane to see the April 2024 Solar Eclipse, partially because, unlike many many places in Texas, our hosts were not trying to gouge us for this rare event. What we got instead, a spectacular cabin on treed acreage with a pond and the quiet of being out in the country. At Memory Lane we experienced a 2 1/2 hour afternoon eclipse highlighted by an amazing 4 minutes and 2 seconds of total darkness that silenced the song birds and the lowing of nearby cattle. But with or without the eclipse, we would have experienced the kindness of our hosts. Next to the chalk board welcoming us with our names, was a lovely gift basket of goodies and a hand made commemorative 2024 Eclipse cutting board, along with a stack of Maggie Blackthorne Mysteries authored by LaVonne. Brenda had read them as the result our AirBNB rental experience. Memory Lane is simply a lovely place to retreat and rejuvenate.

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We loved the fire pit. It was nice being able to sit outside and see the deer run through the field. The house was so clean and spacious.

Beautiful remodel job! Very well stocked. Beds and linens were comparable to 5 star hotels! We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back!

Beautiful place and super cozy!

We loved the place for the private, pretty surroundings. Fishing in the pond was great and worth working through all the hydrilla that invades it. Our family probably caught 150 large mouth bass over the 3+ days we were there. They bit all day long even in the summer heat. Best place is to take the canoe across the pond to the other side. We would stay again and recommend it to others.

It was such a great experience to watch the recent total eclipse from Fair’s property. The space is lovely and was a great getaway from the city. She was a gracious host as well!

There’s something incredibly refreshing about stepping away from the routine of everyday life and a home away from home proved to be the perfect remedy. The RV itself was well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. From a fully stocked kitchenette to a cozy bed, and even a bathroom with a shower, it had all the essentials covered. I was impressed with how efficiently the space was used—everything was compact yet functional, offering an inviting atmosphere the interior was very thoughtfully designed, with a mix of modern conveniences and homey touches. The living area felt cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The tv, although not used much due to the hot tub and outside area being where i chose to be the most was able to move from living to bedroom and was a plus for me. There were snacks, waters, g ames and my favorite books!!! i slept like a baby and had great coffee the next morning. checkout was seemless
