B&B Wachtpost 29, real gem in the middle of nature

What was once a train track from Boxtel to Wesel has now become a beautiful walking trail through the natural wealth surrounding Houtvennen. Our guest house stands dead centre in this area! We call it a B&B because we serve a royal breakfast after every night of your stay. Simultaneously, it’s a magnificent vacation home with complete privacy in an environment where you can go for a walk, go cycling, but also just relax. One of our guests called it “A real gem”. And that’s a fact.

Cozy cottage, if you are looking for peace and space, then you are in the right place! The detached cottage has a terrace with a large garden with a trampoline and a covered seating area. A few minutes' walk away is a lake where you can walk, fish and swim. Bikes can also come along! There are plenty of bicycle routes and hiking trails nearby. Zoo and war museum 10 minutes by car. Nijmegen and Venlo are nice cities for shopping, or visit the old fortified town of Grave.

The Voorhuis is furnished as a cozy accommodation for 10 people. UNFORTUNATELY, NO WIFI UNTIL JULY 16 The guesthouse (ONLY ADULTS NO CHILDREN) concerns the entire upper floor of our house located in Heumen on the edge of nature and recreation areas. It is an excellent base for cycling, mountain biking, and hiking in this versatile area. The historic (shopping) city of Nijmegen with shops, restaurants and museums is 10 km away. The bus stops in front of the door, station 2 km away. There is a Greek restaurant opposite the B&B.

Sleeping in the heart of the historic center of the fortified town of Grave? River Meuse, supermarket, shops, specialty shops, cafes, restaurants, all within walking distance of this 2-person townhouse on the market. Cities such as Nijmegen, Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven can be reached within half an hour. So, nice and central! The bathroom and bedroom can be reached by a steep staircase, the accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

My accommodation is located near the Staatbossen with many cycling and hiking opportunities. The place is suitable for couples, nature lovers, seniors and families (with children). During your stay, you can enjoy a heated outdoor swimming pool, various playgrounds, jumping pillow, ball pit and indoor playground (closed in winter months!). Do you prefer peace and quiet? No problem. In your spacious garden with lounge set you can enjoy this!

Beautiful quiet cottage in Maasduinen National Park, on Pieterpad and forest, heath, fens, meadow. For 1 to 4 people. Children are very welcome! Bedroom with two beds (separate or double), kitchen, bathroom, living room with wood stove and sleeping loft with double bed. Beautiful view, quiet.
