Unique loqhouse with lakeview near city center

This modern, unique log house was completed in 2020 as a home for a family of five. The living room's high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows make the living room very bright. The northern lights have also been admired from the sofa in the living room. Natural materials guarantee that it is good to breathe and be in the house. The location is optimal, just over 5 minutes from the center and 15 minutes from the airport/ Santa's village. Getting there by public transport is also possible.

Jänkälä sulkee ovensa ajalle 22.3 - noin 30.7.2026, laajojen parannusten vuoksi. Jänkälä on myös kotini, jota kehitetään joka vuosi paremmaksi vastaamaan kysyntää. Vuonna 2026 kesällä mm rakennetaan iso terassikeittiö rantaan, WC ja peseytymistilat saavat perusparannuksen, TV asennetaan. Revontuliaika alkaa jo syyskuussa kun tulee pimeää ja on pilvetöntä, ympäristössä ei valosaastetta. Laaja erämaa aukeaa heti ulko-ovelta ja on jokamiehen oikeuksin kaikkien käytettävissä tietyin edellytyksin.

Cozy detached house with sauna – a gem in nature

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. Nearby are great hiking destinations for self-guided tourism, 40km away from Aavasaksa. The house is located far from light pollution, and there are no street lights. From the yard of our house, you can see the northern lights, if they occur. In addition, there are two lakes nearby. You can also see reindeer in the wild! Your own car is required when traveling to the destination.
