In shed and cellar you find all other stuff needed.

The cottage has 6 single beds and a double sofa bed. Downstairs 2 cozy bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the top loft 1 + living room. The distance to the shore of Lake Saimaa is ~500 meters. From the cottage ~900 meters away, private beach, barbecue hut, and our rowing boat rentals. Linen/towel rent €15/pax.

Welcome to Saimaa's Villa Mustikka. The island has beautiful countryside view and epic possibilities to variety of outdoor activities, E.g. cycling, jogging or just wandering in the nature. The Äitsaari is famous of its cycling tours through the island. The island will challenge everyone in its mountaneous road profile. You can also fish in the Lake Saimaa. If fancied, it is not forbidden to just relax and enjoy the lakeside sauna and swimming in the clean freshwater lake :)

Cottage Kotiranta is located on the shore of Lake Saimaa on Taipalsaari. The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can spend some time in the spacious yard playing games or observing the birds from the terrace. The cottage's yard is bordered by a beach with a gloriously deepening sand/clay bottom. There is also a pier for swimming or sunbathing. You'll have access to a rowboat, so you can fish if you want to. Many guests are delighted with the abundant fish catches.

A security-roofed heritage sauna provides soft finds with a large wood burner, then freshen up in the bright waters of Saima. Lava has a large open fireplace where you can fry sausage and s' mores.

The closest grocery store is just a 5-minute drive away in the center of Anttola. If you're looking for a place to stay in the tranquility of nature by the lake, or your interests are camping/hiking, I recommend our cozy cabin for your stay. The cottage is a good way to get there.

Numerous opportunities for outdoor activities, e.g. walking, cycling, a ski slope right outside the door. Sauna and hot tub can be reserved on site. There is a nature trail in the nearby areas and 200m away on the hill you can see e.g. wartime trenches.
