Juliabuda was built in the 1860s, and we can offer an atmospheric stay in this authentic seaside cottage where there has been a herring salting plant, a post office and a store. Sjøbuda has a jetty with the opportunity to go boating or enjoy views of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion areas both by the fjord and at mountain heights around 600-700 meters above sea level, with both light and more challenging terrain. Large, lovely terraces in the outdoor area with great sunshine. A short distance to the centre of Larsnes. Many trips in the local area, and a short drive to Ulsteinvik, Herøy and Ørsta/Volda. Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Electric car charging available in town.
