Family-friendly vacation rentals in Las Galeras

We had such a wonderful stay! This was our first vacation with our 18 month old toddler, which we were so scared of - but it was so so perfect. The house had everything we needed for him, crib, high chair, microwave for his milk, etc. Carlos' communication was amazing, he always responded immediately and helped us with absolutely everything we needed (airport cars, a buggy rental at the house, massages, etc). The house was beautiful as was the location. The beach we could walk to was fantastic! Also Jackie, who cooked all our meals was AMAZING! Her food was beyond delicious, she was so sweet and kind, and our 18 month old toddler was absolutely in love with her. Can't recommend enough, definitely going back!

This place was absolutely amazing, perfectly clean, and super comfortable. We were able to enjoy the chefs services which were delicious. The team in general worked perfectly to our expectations and then some. One thing we were iffy about was how close the beach was, but it was a 3 minute walk from the house, and super accessible. The beaches were pristine, and were everything we were hoping for .

This resort was beautiful, updated and always clean. The beach restaurant is gorgeous and the food terrific. The beach and the loungers are paradise. My expectations for both the resort and my condo were exceeded

We stayed an extra night in Las Terrenas and Alessandras apartment came up and we instantly loved it! We did not get there until 10pm and Alessandra was so helpful and nothing was a problem for her. The next day, her partner helped me get my car out and were so helpful and friendly. Alessandra has a beautiful home but it also had a really good vibe about the place! Will be back to stay again!

The views and the terrace… just wow. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to spend your time in a more remote and peaceful location. It's quite far from the beach, but that gives it a very private and relaxing feel. The sunsets are beautiful, and the comfortable outdoor furniture on the terrace makes you want to sit there for hours. The pool and sun loungers were clean and well-maintained, which made relaxing outside even more enjoyable. The entire house is beautifully decorated and designed with great attention to detail — it really adds to the luxurious atmosphere. Ramon and Albania were kind, but unfortunately they don’t speak English, which made communication a bit challenging at times. The house was very clean, and surprisingly, we didn’t see any insects or mosquitoes — maybe we just got lucky! The villa looked even better than in the photos when we booked it — it had just been renovated and feels very upscale, except for the kitchen, which could use some updates

Very friendly both, easy to get to. And the place is cozy. We had to go out at an hour and it gave us a chance to enjoy a little more of the stay.

Really great house comfortable for several families a short walk from the beach on the quieter side of town. Loved the pool and all the shady outdoor space.

Nice space, tranquil. The two people recommended to help with cooking and the bbq were excellent.

We were at one with nature in this peaceful oasis! We stayed here with our rambunctious 3 year old; we knew it would be a little risky due to accessibility to the pool, stairs, etc but it turned out great! Really enjoyed the (incredible!!) view, pool, the beautiful gardens, the wildlife. We also liked the area, we really got a sense of the real DR. The place was perfect for a short stay! The kitchen had the basics, but imo not enough for a longer stay. The highlight was the little cat, my son had lots of fun giving it water and cuddling it. Lots of ants/wasps/mosquitos here, if you don’t like creepy crawlers, this place might not be suitable! The place was as described, clean and the staff on site were great (daniel and anulfo). We managed to get up the hill in a tiny Kia Picante, but as others suggested, its a very steep, rocky road; an SUV would have been best but it was still do-able in our car with extreme caution! Spacious and Cosy. It has all the facilities to comfortably accommodate 8 people. The location is close to where the Las Terrenas business is located, as described in the post. It has a nice pool. If your group is large, it's a perfect stay so everyone can be together.

Beautiful place, feel like home. Nice breeze at night. Worth the money. We will definitely look again!

I contacted Luigi during the late afternoon for a same day check in. He was quick and responsive and responded to all my needs. Check in is quick and efficient. Clean apartment with a great beach view from the balcony.

Beautiful house, very spacious, peaceful, perfect for a family, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and Hans had someone that clean the pool every day. Hans was also very helpful.

Frederique's place was perfect: casita in the back of her beautiful home and garden, around the corner from “La Playita” (white sand, little sargassum and pay stalls) and 12 min from downtown. Full kitchen (with some complimentary things to cook), multi-speed ceiling fan, meshes, mosquito net and incense repellents that kept us insect-free. Abundant breakfast with fruit, baguette, things for bread and tea (we were even able to take what we had left!). Frederique contacted us with her tour agency friend to organize our excursion to Los Haitises and Cayo Levantado (with the binoculars of Frederique included) and also introduced us to Caquito(excellent person), who took us by motorcycle to Playa Rincón and picked us up when going to and from Samaná. Frederique has five adorable and playful dogs that accompanied us everywhere We will always be grateful for Frederique's kindness, warmth and hospitality, we take you in our ❤️

My family and I had an amazing time! The house was absolutely stunning. When we weren’t off going on hikes, whale watching, and playing at the beach, we were having fun at the pool. We felt extremely safe our entire stay. There are so many restaurants that are within walking distance. I would highly recommend Daniel, the taxi driver for private transfer to and from the airport and everything In between. He was an incredible driver. Rick and Nathalie were amazing and helped with any questions that came up. We plan to be back soon!

Alessandro’s place was amazing. The home looks better than the pictures and the pictures were already breathtaking. My family loved the pool but especially the private beach that was just steps away from the house. Definitely coming back to this place when I come back to Samaná.
