Small, simple and idyllic annex with the kitchen

In the house in a village with a stream in the garden, you enter a small, simply furnished annex. The annex is next to the carport and property. The creek can be seen from the window. Garden table and chairs can be moved and follow the sun if you want. Food can be made in simple kitchen. There are 2 hot plates. Service, pots ect. Dishwashing is done in a basin, where water is collected from the bathroom. Bonfire food can be made in a garden. Gas grill is available. It is a small single annex, where you sleep in a good 3/4 bed.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the fantastic nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city centre. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Dejligt nyt badeværeske med brus. Udgang til stor træ terrasse med fantastisk udsigt, her er mulighed for at grille og nyde en tur i vildmarksbadet. Belligende få km. til indkøb og badesø, samt tæt på skov. Kort afstand til Århus og Silkeborg, offentlig transport hertil fra Låsby hver time.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

We offer... Your own private apartment with bedroom/living room, kitchenette and bath/toilet. Large bed with freshly ironed bed linen and cozy corner with a dining area. Own entrance through carport and access to garden. Within walking distance to Silkeborg town center (approx. 2.3 km). Non-smoking facilities throughout the register. The apartment is part of a private residence, which is why you will be able to hear a little life in the house when the hosts are at home.

Donuts

Lovely annex in Denmark's highest village, overlooking Himmelbjerget. Sorring is surrounded by beautiful, hilly nature, where there is plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling. There is a bike path all the way to Silkeborg. Transport time from Sorring is only 15-30 minutes drive to Silkeborg, Skanderborg and Aarhus, respectively. Sorring is a 5-10 minute drive from the Aarhus-Herning highway. There is a 5-10 minute walk to shopping.

Holiday in the countryside. With animals and garden.

Lovely apartment in a rural setting, located in the high seas, between Aarhus and Silkeborg. From the apartment you can see a fantastic view to the south and west. There is the possibility to use our fireplace, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. We have a large herbal garden , so during the season there is the opportunity to get fresh vegetables. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys.

You get your very own little "apartment" with a private entrance, a small kitchen with dining space for four people, a private bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a double bed (140x200), sofa, TV and workspace. In addition, the terrace and the garden's various cozy corners may be enjoyed and used.
