Feeling of free town - and at the same time green nice place for camping (shadow until afternoon) by the river. This time with small kids for camping, but I can see that this would be also great place for gigs and parties! Kind and helpful host!

I stayed here for two nights during the off-season, so I was the only camper there. At first, I was nervous (as a solo female traveler,) but Gavin was very kind and chill—and even provided me with food! There is a shower inside which you are allowed to use if you ask. The location has so much personality, and it’s perfect for an alternative-soul who loves a rugged and somewhat edgy outdoor experience. It’s also pretty easy to get to the city centre. It’s the kind of stay that you can’t wait to tell your friends (and future grandkids) about! “You’ll never believe where I stayed when I was in Latvia!” Remember: there’s a lot available to you if you simply ask!

Great tent retreat! Even though it was cool at night (~13 degrees), but the tent has a heated mattress topper so it didn't get cold. The environment is very nicely arranged, clean. There is a table and barbeque by the tent. In the shared kitchen you will find almost everything: fridge, teapot, cups, plates, knives, stove and even glasses for wine :) 5 min to the sea where the grass coast will be and 10-15 min to the sea where there will be a sandy shore.

The place is clean,bright. The interior is comfortable, and it's warm to sleep, especially when the heated mattress is heated. In the evening, you can turn on romantic lighting, there is an outdoor table and a place for frying on charcoal. A good place to spend time for two, or spend the night.

Such a unique place to spend a romantic time together! :)

We had a great experience, exactly what we were looking for. We went there for a peaceful stay, we got the chance to add the Sauna to our stay, which we enjoyed the first night, while going out to take a break could see an amazing clear sky full of stars, which we miss since we live in Barcelona. The place is super quiet and calm, amazing break from the city!

We had the most magial stay at Agneses and Aivars teepee. Our small family (including a 3 year old) made some core family memories that we will never forget. The teepee is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has a fireplace in the middle, we fell asleep while whatching the fire. Epic! The location is amazing - surrounded by forest with the river near by. You can have a real off-grid experience. The next day we went to the children's attraction park "Avārijas Brigāde" which is located close by. There is also an animal park couple of km away. The hosts were amazing and very welcoming. Thank you Agnese, Aivar and Druvi for this amazing experience!
