Airbnb should creat a term higher than Superhost only for Rickard. We had a absolutely perfect stay at his place. The place is just paradise, fresh fish coming to you everyday, you don't have to move, some children are always hanging around ready to help you if you need anything. His goat Javier is the loveliest goat on earth and his dog Panther.. well I fall in love with that cute dog, she is the best as Rickard and Nieva his girlfriend. We couldn't wish a greater stay. They showed us secret rover with no tourist at all they helped us with absolutely everything. I have no words to describe that stay it was spot on!! Thank you again Rickard we felt at home for 5 days and we were so sad we had to leave.. we will come back for sure!!!! Miss you guys already!

It was a great stay overall, I appreciate the responsiveness and the hosts family even welcomed us. There were some items that need to be fixed but didn’t really impacted our stay. A great place to stay if you want peaceful, quiet, and beautiful view/scenery.

If you want to book a house with kitchen, sea view, quiet and close to the many waterfalls with good internet connection, Adam's house is ideal for a short or long stay, the sea view is fantastic, Adam came to pick us up by car from the port and was always very responsive and good advice. The proximity to the waterfalls is a plus as well as easy access to Lazi which is a significantly less crowded village than San Juan with a fruit and vegetable market, fish as well as quite a few restaurants and bakeries. The house is very large and well equipped, fast internet via satellite is a plus, a perfect stay for us. It is better to rent a scooter and Adam has also helped us on that. Highly recommended if you are looking for calm, views and large houses with kitchen.

We enjoyed our visit. The home was clean and the house manager was nearby in case we needed any thing. The owner and manager were happy to accommodate our extra guest request with ample extra mattresses, bedding and towels. The house manager even met us at ferry Port and pointed us to scooter rentals. The home is directly on a beach in a small fishing village which was very charming and relaxing. The kitchen is very functional for cooking with gas stove, large refrigerator (even a second not plugged in) and plenty of cookware and dinnerware. It looked like fishermen are selling fresh catch just after sunrise for those who want to cook seafood but we did not buy any. The view from the roof deck looking right at the beach below and ocean horizon was really beautiful with a hammock and a couple chairs to relax. Internet is as decent as you can expect from an island with acceptable speed and stability for browsing, email, social media and even regular streaming. The location seems slightly farther south than the airbnb map showed but it was not a major issue if you have a good sense of direction and are willing to drive 10 minutes to the nearest restobar or 15 minutes to the center of town. Side note not related to this airbnb rental: the last available scooters at the port worked out acceptably for our short trip but you may want to rent in advance if you can find rentals elsewhere in better condition.

During our trip to the Philippines, this is the best place to stay! We felt like we were family friends! Even the dogs in this house accept you, as if you were already familiar with them! Chic territory, chic apartment, chic hosts, chic dogs, chic island! I didn't even want to leave and I really want to go back there again! Definitely worth it! The location is very convenient! This place was amazing! It was very spacious for my huge family. We loved the pool and the long dining room table outside where we ate breakfast and dinner every day. The outdoor kitchen with the grill we also loved. The price we paid was very affordable. Any thing we needed, all we had to do was message Paul and he immediately responded and sent his very friendly staff over. They came every morning to clean the pool and house. I would definitely recommend this place. We will definitely stay again in the future!

After booking for the first time, it's quick to respond until checkout. You've also addressed your needs well. It's a distance to Alona Beach, but there's no problem with the tour. There is no breakfast, but there is a bakery right across the street, so it was also nice. The swimming pool is large, and the person who manages it cleans up the large garbage in the living room every day, so the family rested comfortably before heading out.

We had a great stay! The location is wonderfully remote, offering peace and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home itself is clean and well-maintained with great amenities that made our stay very comfortable. While it would have been nice to have air conditioning upstairs, the aircon downstairs kept the space cool enough. Overall, a lovely home with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

I can’t praise Gloria enough. The location was peaceful and out of the way, but close to everything. The property exceeded any expectations I had. Definitely will stay again if I ever come back to Dumaguete.

Very nice, the staff/caretakers/maids, whatever you call them were top notch. They were friendly, helpful and just pleasant to be around. There were a number of places to eat within a few moments walking, there were sari sari stores next door. There was a lot of traffic on the road until about 10 pm, very easy to catch tricycle to go down to Blvde. I don't know about all the time but the other guests at the facility were very pleasant while I was there.

Conversation with my daughter when I told her we were leaving this Airbnb in Dauin: Her: But I don't want to leave - this is the best place ever! Me: Oh really? Why do you like it so much? Her: Because of the dogs and the pool So yes, our kids (aged 6 and 8) absolutely loved this place. It has a very cool and unique design. Great access to the beach and pool. And very convenient access to the Liquid Dive resort next door (we liked going there for breakfast).

South Mountain Resort is the best place to stay in all of Siquijor. It combines all of the autonomy of a well-equipped airbnb with all the amenities of a resort. I could cook breakfast and dinner in my kitchen, or I could walk over to the restaurant and order dinner or drinks. The cleaning staff kept my bungalow immaculate and I had access to laundry services as well. I spent a month at the beautiful hilltop retreat and was able to work remotely with ease--reliable, fast wifi meant I could take video calls with colleagues back in the United States, and air conditioning in the bedroom meant I never overheated while working at the dedicated desk area. The resort itself is incredibly peaceful and tucked away from the mayhem of the ring road, but it was walking distance to dozens of cafes and restaurants. I felt so welcomed and seen by the friendly staff, and as a single female traveler, I appreciated how safe the property and surrounding neighborhood were.

Juvy’s beach house is a relaxing place to stay. The beautiful beach is just on the front hard. The house is fully equipped with cooking wares, and utensils. She provided free water to drink. It is a place you can call a home away from home. My family and I had a great time during our stay.

This was my second long term stay at south mountain, and again, we loved the experience! The rooms are big and comfy, the staff always responsive and helpful, the property and views are breathtaking. It’s a really wonderful stay away from the traffic of town. We enjoyed the restaurant too! They have the best wine list I’ve seen on the island and their steaks are imported and of very high quality. Yum. I stayed a month twice, but even if you have just a few days, south mountain is one of a kind for Siquijor.

We had a wonderful stay all throughout our Siquijor trip! The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. They were always available to offer helpful tips and assist with any requests, making the entire experience hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, inviting place to stay!

We had an incredible stay at Lenie’s place! The apartment was beautifull, spotlessly clean, and in an amazing and peaceful location. We loved relaxing on the balcony in the evenings. The host is very responsive and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The cabin is simply a dream, the view is amazing! You can really relax there and enjoy the view of the sea. The way to the property is pretty bumpy with the scooter especially in the end, but we got it done! At check-in we were personally picked up by Leo and he showed us everything, he is super sweet and helpful!

Sir Peter and Ma'am Marivic's apartments are great, just a little drive down the mountain and you'll see lots of good resto, the staff and the owner are very accomodating, and the cleanliness of the apartment everyday that is what we really enjoy in our stay in their apartment. We would love to recommend to the other tourist Sir Peter and Ma'am Marivic's apartment.
