Still House is the spot! Conveniently located yet off the beaten path. Clean, comfy and aesthetically beautiful. Hikes at Natural Bridge, Sky Bridge, Gray’s Arch, Auxier Ridge and eats at Miguel’s Pizza, La Cabaña and Bobcat Dairy Bar were highlights. Thanks for your hospitality, Will & Rob. We truly enjoyed your home!

Caytie was a very responsive, flexible, and understanding host! She did everything she could to ensure a great stay for my group and we couldn’t be more grateful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our kind and gracious hosts were the cherry on top of this beautiful, scenic, and peaceful rental! Would happily stay again.

Elizabeth’s place is truly one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home to all 12 of us—a rare and special feeling when traveling with a large group. The space was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. Elizabeth went above and beyond, staying responsive and accommodating every step of the way, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re already hoping to return next year—it wouldn’t feel right going anywhere else!

I was in town for the death of my grandfather. I had a hard time finding a place close to his home. I ended up checking in at a shady hotel before thinking about checking Airbnb. This was the first place that showed up, so I booked for the next day check in. Lindsay messaged me instantly and I explained the situation. She allowed us to check in a day early for comfort! My sister is physically handicapped and the home was wonderful for her. Everything was easily accessible and comfortable for her. The place is very cozy and felt like home away from home. 110% recommend!

We have been regulars here for a few months and love this home away from home! Gaynell is super friendly and always goes above and beyond to be as accommodating as possible. It was warm enough to be outside this time, and the kids loved running around the yard after our long trip! I can’t recommend their place enough, they are wonderful hosts and the house is extremely comfortable and welcoming 🙂

Halley is a great host! I booked very last minute and she was very accommodating. Halley was very communicative and quick to respond, which was very appreciated. There are food places 15-30 minute away depending on what you choose. We ate Friday dinner at 145 Roadhouse. Their filet was tender with great flavor! On Saturday we enjoyed a nice breakfast outside on the balcony of Halley's home. We had planned to walk Natural Bridge State Park on Saturday, but mother nature decided differently for us. So we went to a store about 5-10 minutes away and bought some games to play. We spent the rest of the afternoon with the windows open, listening to the rain. While playing games with the slight breeze that blew through the home. Saturday night we had dinner at Hop's. Hop's food is farm to table and they had live music. The artists playing were playing something alittle different from what we are used to, but it was very enjoyable. The spaghetti was amazing! Would most definitely stay again!

Hidden Magnolia was a great cabin for a weekend away with friends. Beds were super comfortable and relaxing on the porch surrounded by trees was great. Great suggestions for restaurants things to do near the cabin. If it was drier out, we would’ve used the fire ring and grill! As other reviews have said, a suv or 4x4 makes getting there easier. There was a lot of rain the weekend we went and I doubt a sedan would handle the gravel road well. Highly recommend the cabin and we’re already discussing going back down for another unplugged weekend.

The Lady Slipper apartment was the perfect base for all of my hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge...located right in the middle of it all. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for myself and my dog.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

Great location will definitely stay again

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Beautiful cabin, perfect location for Muir Valley. I loved it and will be back as soon as possible.

It was an amazing experience staying here. The place was really awesome even for people that are very tall myself standing at 6’10 and my girlfriend 6’2 we had plenty of room no complaints. Everything was provided you need to have a very enjoyable time at the cabin, very clear and simple instruction on what to do when leaving also. I will recommend this to anyone, it’s not the most private there another cabin about 20 feet away but very peaceful nice fire pit with firewood provided and fire starter provided and an amazing hot tub.

Staying at The Hooting Owl was an absolute dream! The house is stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. From the moment we booked, the communication was over-the-top amazing—so responsive, kind, and truly dedicated to making our stay perfect. Every part of our stay was magical, but the daily visits from the peacocks and the sweet dog, Mable, made it even more special! It was such a joy to wake up and be greeted by these beautiful animals, adding an extra touch of charm and fun to an already perfect getaway. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing hospitality, stunning surroundings, and a few delightful animal friends, The Hooting Owl is the place to be! I can’t recommend it enough and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Larry was an excellent host who provided clear instructions, easy check-in, and offered additional support with rentable kyaks/canoes and was quick to respond to any requests. Cabin came complete with available firewood and while the weather wasn't great during our stay, the peaceful surroundings were amazing for a weekend retreat. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Larry!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Drop Red GORGEous. Shane’s communication great and directions were easy to find the place. It’s a perfect glamping location- off the beaten path but with all the simple luxuries you need, including comfortable beds.
