Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. An atmospheric suite with a free entrance, where once was the haystack of this farmhouse from 1878. The guest house has a bedroom with a double bed, a seating area and stunning views of the garden and surrounding greenery. Eat and relax at a stumbling distance at our neighbors of Caatje aan de Lek or brewery Duits & Lauret - both forts of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie (UNESCO heritage) or the Witte Schuur. Enjoy cycling and hiking with fantastic views from Goilberdingerdijk and Diefdijk. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 extra beds on the landing.

Cherry Cottage

In Cherry Cottage you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view over the meadows. This stylishly decorated red cedar cottage has all the comforts. The wood-fired hot tub can be booked for €60. This provides a Scandinavian experience and includes fresh water, a crate of wood and hammam towels. You can enjoy the hot tub an extra time for €15. Payment takes place during the stay, preferably in cash. Breakfast is available in consultation for €15 pp from 9:00 a.m.

The old Wagenschuur on the river Lek.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old carriage house, of which old beams have remained visible as much as possible. The cottage is located in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental Krukhuis farm, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage has its own outdoor seating. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

Rural apartment

Feel at home in our cozy apartment in the middle of rural Nieuwland. A beautiful view of the polder and over "de Vliet". It is a good base for cycling along the Linge or a day of fishing at one of the many fishing spots nearby. Of course, you can also just "stay at home" because the apartment has everything for a relaxing stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with every modern comfort.
