There is a frisbee golf course and ball binge nearby, a gondola with a café on Strandafjellet that is open in summer, and Geiranger, Trollstigen and Valldal are within an hour's drive. In short: a comfortable base for active summer days, whether you want to climb peaks or just slow down with a view of the mountains. And if you come in the winter, you can go straight out on your skis.

Enjoy the fantastic view from this idyllic granary located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The granary is over a hundred years old, but it has been renovated. NOTE: The granary has electricity, but no running water or toilet. Guests can use the shower and toilet in the main house, which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is used only by you guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 litres of water available in the refrigerator.
