Very nice cottage. Quiet, beautiful view. We loved the open area with the fireplace. Three bedrooms, one of which is very small (more for children). Nice stay!

We are going for work so we did not really enjoy the place but we will definitely go back to enjoy it better. The house was really beautiful and cozy, intimate too. The spas at the top bedroom is a plus. The host was really quick to respond if I had questions. I would recommend this Airbnb. We loved it 😇

We stayed 12 days and we had a lovely stay at the accommodation. It's big, and there's everything you need for a few days! Frédérico was available and understandable about check-in times! And Renée who takes care of the accommodation was superb with us too! I recommend it:)

Highly recommended! We loved Dany's place - it's roomy (we were 4 adults), bright, very nicely decorated and super clean. We felt at home and very comfortable. The living and dining room area is perfect for relaxing by the fire or spending evenings at the large table. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped with cookware, dinnerware and cutlery, all very nice and good quality. There were also some cooking basics like sugar, tea, spices, oil, etc. The location couldn't be better; quiet and surrounded by nature yet close to restaurants and cafes and shopping (a short drive). It is also very close to Mt. Orford ski lifts, which worked very well for us as we were there for a few days of skiing. Communication with Dany was easy and fast, as was the check-in/check-out process. Thank you Dany!

Absolutely beautiful location. Place was perfect and very well stocked.

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Very nice place. We were there for a hockey tournament, large laundry room to put our pockets and lots of space. We even had the TV with the sports stations, we were able to listen to the Canadian. We'll definitely go back.

Carol and Marc were really welcoming. They had everything prepared to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in their beautiful and cozy cabin. Carol was always available to communicate with us. Thanks again!

It's a real haven of peace! It is an ideal place to recharge, enjoy nature and admire sumptuous scenery. Dominique is a very welcoming host, charming and attentive to her guests. We'll go back for sure. I suggest you book without hesitation if there are any dates available... you will not be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurie's Havre de paix. it's say it all, close to town for food or anything you need, the chalet is beautiful, peaceful surrounding and well equipped as for outdoor and indoor activities. Laurie is a great host while offering all the necessities for your need that are so welcome. ( we brought coffee and when we came in, there were already good coffee ready for us for the lovely expresso machine for us to use ❤️) that just some small things like this at our stay that make it more memorable :) We will come back for sure next year and recommend to our friends and family!

Very nice family stay. There was plenty of space even though we were seven adults and a baby. The cottage is comfortable. The people of the village are kind and welcoming. For the cold season, it would be nice to have more seats near the indoor fireplace.

Super nice cottage, it matches the photos. Very good location, the views are beautiful and the sunsets are stunning. The chalet is located at the foot of Mont Mégantic Park. You can also walk on Julie and Marc's land. In winter, bring snowshoes to get from the parking lot to the cottage and walk around the grounds. The hosts were responsive and very nice, they greeted us when we arrived. A hidden gem, we'll go back!

If you're looking to have an authentic experience and go back “as in the good old days”, this place is great! The two log cottages, connected by a balcony and nestled in the middle of the forest on the edge of Lake Mégantic, offer a simply beautiful view and a site. Without electricity or running water, it is an invitation to disconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Solar lamps and a cell phone charger are still available, adding a practical touch. Although the lack of water requires some planning (like bringing enough for dishes), this is part of the rustic charm. The backhouse, located a little further afield, adds a touch of adventure, although it can be a challenge at night for the younger ones. The slow-burning fireplaces in each cottage create a warm atmosphere, but require maintenance to maintain a pleasant temperature. A great experience for nature lovers.
