Cozy little house, located on a farm, Ål in Hallingdal. On the farm, in the neighboring house, there is a family of 5 + two dogs, and in the barn we have sheep. In April/May there is an opportunity to greet lambs and experience lambing. 15 minutes from the city center 5 minutes to the 24-hour grocery store. 5 minutes to Ål Ski Center. 10 minutes to ski slopes in the mountains. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and nice tableware, two hotplates and a new refrigerator. Outside there is a cozy space in the sun wall and you have access to a fire pit. Here you live peacefully by Strandafjorden, with a short distance to Ål city center, hiking trails and ski trails. No electricity or running water – but everything you need for a real and atmospheric cottage experience. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want to relax and enjoy nature. In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

Unique and comfortable accommodation with a pleasant view

Our newly built "sleeping box" is designed and built by the award-winning architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and is located on the 2nd floor in a timber grain barn from 1850 with an airy view of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but an extra mattress or crib can be added if needed. In the barn located in the building next door there is a built-in kitchen, bathroom and toilet. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can add an extra bed and/or crib if needed.

Our cabin was renovated and extended in the fall of 2022, and we can warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to a loft/living room with a double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washing machine/dryer and well equipped kitchen. In the attic living room there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge an electric car.

A great place for winter and summer activities: Cross country slopes and sleding hill just outside the door, ski lifts 10 min away, cycling and hiking routes, nearby mountain farms, swim in rivers, canoo available, etc. Eating chair, changing table and sleeping bed for babies/small children available.

Cabin Leveldåsen, Ål, Hallingdal

Newly built modern cabin with a fantastic view of Hallingskarvet. Cross country tracks and alpine trails practically just behind the cabin offering panoramic view of the mountain peaks a few kilometers away. If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Cabin is rented out WITHOUT bedlinen and towels.

Located at 930 meters above sea level, the ski conditions are guaranteed in winter, but there are also plenty of activities and swimming opportunities in summer. Well suited for families with children of all ages. Winter road up to the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross-country skiing).

Ål Skisenter is 10 min away, Geilo 25 min and Hemsedal 50 min.
