Hello , My name is Gräweheinersch and I am a vacation rental. I am at home in the land of the angry giants, in the Hickengrund in the wooded Siegerland, the region between Rubens and Landluft. More precisely in Burbach-Holzhausen. I am about 80 m² and have a large living/sleeping room, a modern kitchen, a spacious shower room and a large balcony. Numerous excursion destinations in the area complete a perfect stay in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany.

Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Bamenohl Castle - Fireplace room apartment

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Farmhouse with fireplace and garden

Beautiful farmhouse in a quiet village location. This 300 year old house has been in our family's possession for 50 years and has been partially renovated for renting as a cottage. Suitable for 2 - 8 persons, e.g. two friendly families. The rooms have views of the large flower garden. Guests can use the garden and terrace. A nature reserve and several hiking trails are a few minutes away. Shops are 2 km away.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

House on the forest -complete apartment approx. 45 sqm- with separate entrance. The modern and practical accommodation is right on the edge of the forest. From here, you and your partner can go directly into the nature of the Lahn-Dill mountain landscape. The surrounding area is ideal for day trips.
