You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cozy cottage directly on Mattanawcook Lake with breathtaking views, steps away from boat ramp / dock and park, including beach, basketball courts and playground. One block away to Downtown Lincoln with restaurants and shopping. Relax on the porch or fish from the Private dock (seasonal) /yard. Enjoy family time by the firepit. Last camp on a private dead end road with clear views of the lake. Perfect location for fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing in a hammock. Fully furnished with A Minisplit Heat Pump/ AC, and Propane "wood stove" well water, and high speed WiFi. Within 30 minutes of Lincoln and 1 hr of Bangor. Both towns have shopping, restaurants,etc.

Elkins Rental

A peaceful place for the family. If you're looking for a quiet out of the way place to stay but still close to all the recreation this area has to offer, this is the place. Baxter state park and Katahdin Woods and waters National Monument close by. ATV trails, Snowsled trails and the Penobscot river all within a couple of miles away . Excellent area for hunting, fishing, hiking, boating and all other 4 season outdoor activities. Plenty of parking area for snowmobile, atv and boats trailers.

Peaceful Cabin on Center Pond

Relax any time of year at our peaceful cabin in the Maine woods. Situated on the shore of Center pond, the cabin has been appointed with all the amenities you would hope to find. 2 bedrooms each with a Queen sized bed (1 up-1 down) a loft with 2 twin beds, and 1 & 1/2 baths, the cabin comfortably sleeps 6. Upstairs is accessed by a spiral staircase. The fully furnished kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal. Relax and sunbathe, swim, paddleboard or kayak the Summer days away.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). 3 night minimum. Cottage is located at 32 Lake Avenue, Brownville, Maine 04414. Turn right at A.E. Roberson's convenience store in Brownville, Maine onto Church Street. Follow Church Street for 4.7 miles and turn right onto Schoodic Lake Road. Follow Schoodic Lake Road for Approx. 4 miles. Bear right after crossing the railroad tracks and 32 Lake Ave. will be on your left at our mail box.

The camp is brand new on 27 acres of land 3 min to Blue Hill Mountain and 5 min to Blue Hill downtown which is right on the water of The Blue Hill Bay. This is an edge wood enchanting retreat perfect for two to hear birds, squirrels and porcupines. Remember to pick some blueberries when it is in season before the black baby bear down the road eat them all. 3D nature is unfolding right in front of your eyes and Acadia National Park is 50 min drive from here. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.
