We built the cottages with love, with an emphasis on minimalist modern design, in harmony with nature. Located above the beautiful Šumava valley. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place in the heart of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Ideal for hikes, bike rides and skiing. Many excursion destinations are within easy reach, e.g. the Great Arber, Lake Arber, Falkenstein, Rachel, Lusen, Trinkwassertalsperre, treetop trail with tree house Close to the Czech Republic... Bike parks Geisskopf and on the Great Arber Glass museum, glass gardens and newly renovated swimming pool in the village. The train station is about 10 minutes away on foot.

We have been building and tinkering for a long time, and now it is finished: Our vacation chalet in the middle of the most beautiful Bavarian Forest. A cottage where we like to vacation ourselves: a large living room with a comfortable couch, cozy corner bench and a fully equipped kitchen. Solid wood beds from the carpenter with premium mattresses. Two spacious bathrooms with rain showers and a sauna for the gray days. And in summer, a large garden with mountain views, sun loungers and a grill all to yourselves.

Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

Quietly situated forester's house for 2 families

We love to welcome you in our former spacious forester's house. We are a Dutch family with 3 children who bought the house in 2006 as a family vacation home. With a lot of love and attention we think we have created a unique spot in the quiet forests of the Czech Republic. If you love nature you will feel completely at home. Walking, cycling, mountain biking, you are in the middle of it! In the summer you can enjoy the silence on the veranda and in the winter the cosines by the fireplace.

The apartment is an ideal starting point for outdoor activities. In summer, you can go hiking or cycling. In winter, you will also find a groomed cross-country ski trail right behind the house. And you can relax in the sauna all year round.
