We had a great time at the lake house! The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful, and the way the morning sun filled the space, then gave way to cool afternoon and evening shade, was just perfect. It was so peaceful and quiet-just what we needed to unwind. We loved waking up to the sounds of loons, and one day some curious ducks even stopped by to say hello! The house itself felt really warm and welcoming, like a cozy home away from home. Also, Ally was super responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. Thank you for having us!

The cabin was clean and well appointed. The area is very peaceful, and we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

We had a great stay at this cabin - it is spacious, cozy, and has a very beautiful view overlooking the valley and surrounding mountain range. It was easy to find and had ample space for relaxing as well as working remotely. Beds were very comfortable and the full kitchen was great. The hosts were also very responsive! Anyone with dog allergies should know that the unit does allow pets and it seems that the owners have dogs, and there was quite a bit of dog fur around the cabin that did trigger some allergy issues. One other note related to cleaning - you'll be expected to take your trash with you, wipe down surfaces, strip the beds, and vacuum before leaving the cabin, despite paying a cleaning fee to book. Overall though, we had a very nice stay and the cabin has everything you need for a Maine mountain getaway!

Michael is an excellent host, quickly responsive and very accommodating. The house is awesome - cozy north woods vibes, tasteful decor, comfortable furniture, very clean, and absolutely beautiful location. Private yard overlooking the lake through the trees. Super quiet and peaceful spot. This was our second time staying here and we hope to go back again!

Oliver’s place is very clean!! The beds were comfortable! A snowstorm had moved in and Oliver cleaned the driveway out right away. It was a really good stay, I would go back to Oliver’s anytime.

I give the host Tia 10 stars if possible. She was amazing and we were in contact a lot while there. The house is a bit dated and there is some clutter from the owner. The location is amazing and right on the water. They windows on the waterside don’t open and there are no screen doors so it was pretty buggy because we had to keep the doors open due to scorching temps. They don’t have a dock which would have been nice with the boat and just to have something to sit on.. But all in all Tia was truly incredible! The spot beautiful. I would go back. Amber is a responsive host who provides great accommodations. From booking up until our stay, she was available for questions and changes in our plans. Her home is located close to Sugarloaf and made for a great ski trip.

Our Valentine’s weekend took an unexpected turn when our original Airbnb canceled on us after check-in, leaving us stranded. But thanks to Airbnb’s support team, we found Chalet La-Berge Du Lac—and oh my god, were we lucky! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The chalet is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The jacuzzi was simply amazing, the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Though it was winter and the lake was frozen, we could see they offer kayaks, outdoor activities, and even ice fishing—which I wish I had known about earlier! The place has everything you need—a spacious layout, plenty of amenities like a BBQ, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, and so much more. The hosts were exceptional—super friendly and always available whenever we had a question. Communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was effortless. We will definitely be back!!
