Our Scandinavian modern-vintage hideaway is tucked away at the edge of the forest. Open the sliding door and have breakfast with bird sounds, pine scent and squirrels all around you. Outside, you can enjoy a shower or bath under the pine trees, relax in the hammock and a fire pit under the starry sky. The Gorsselse Heide and the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are just around the corner.

Tiny House the Berkelhut, peace and quiet

Very quiet holiday home in beautiful surroundings. From our Berkelhut you can walk straight into the woods of Velhorst. The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

Luxury wooded vacation home with sauna

Het Vogelhuisje is located in one of the quietest spots in the Bosrijk Ruighenrode nature park. In the open garden, you can almost always see squirrels and birds. Three of the four bedrooms, a bathroom (the shower is in the bathtub) and a separate toilet are on the ground floor. The luxurious upstairs bathroom has an infrared sauna and a shower/steam cabin. The cottage is child-friendly and spacious. Fine towels, bedding and many basic amenities are provided. The cottage is pet-free.

You have the De Smederij guest house all to yourself and it has its own entrance. Parking is free for guests. It is a few steps away from the IJssel and within walking distance of the historic center of Zutphen and the station. Zutphen is at home in all markets. Ideal for 1-4 people, a 5th guest is welcome. 2 double beds + 1 stretcher. On request: 1 cot and 1 travel bed. It is completely independent. A beautiful, self-built, log cabin, furnished for 2 people. It is located in the Stavasterbos, a small park, near Lochem. The log cabin has one double room with a 1.80 wide bed with 2 duvets. The cottage has a garden of approximately 350 m2. There is a bistro in the park. There are no other general amenities. The cottage is 3 km from the city center and is adjacent to a beautiful forest area. There is a small shed available to store 2 bicycles if necessary.

The Kleine Huuske is a small but complete cottage in our garden. You sleep in a cozy bedstee and wake up in the morning to birdsong. The cottage has a small kitchen that is equipped with an induction hob and a small oven for baking rolls in the morning, for example. There is free WiFi, and a TV with Chromecast so you can watch your own series. Outside, there is a terrace with two chairs, a table and possibly a fire pit.

It is directly adjacent to the beautiful wooded estate Verwolde. In the middle of the scenic landscape of the green Achterhoek, this is the perfect base for beautiful walking and cycling trips, a visit to the beautiful old Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen.

Our holiday home is suitable for couples and families (with children). It is a beautiful rural holiday home with lots of nice hiking, cycling and fishing opportunities.
