Barn vacation rentals in Loire Valley

Francoise communicated very clearly, the farm was easy to find and check-in, and we felt very comfortable there. Our toddlers really enjoyed meeting the cows!

We had a wonderful stay at Marc’s place, the home and grounds are beautiful with plenty to do to relax; swim, sunbathe, table tennis, pool! The teens loved it! Great area too with famous chateaux and many cities nearby. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and well maintained bedroom and living spaces Mark was a wonderful host, couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again, it’s become a family favourite.

Très bel accueil de Christine qui, n'ayant pu se rendre disponible pour nous accueillir, avait préparé le poêle : il n'y avait plus qu'à craquer l'alumette ! Le logement est propre, fonctionnel, chaleureux et spacieux : parfait pour prendre un peu de repos, quelle que soit la météo. Nous avons également profité de notre séjour chez Christine pour nous rendre au Puy du Fou, situé à 25 minutes du logement. Les échanges avec Christine sont chaleureux et joviaux, encore merci pour tout !

Charmantes Haus, das nett eingerichtet ist und viel Platz bietet. Man ist ganz für sich und kann von dort viele schöne Unternehmungen machen. Der Blick zu den Pferden und über die Felder ist malerisch. Odette ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich, wir fühlten uns ganz zu Hause.

This experience was magical. All aspects were flawless. We experienced a piece of heaven in this magnificent space. Beautiful, authentic with everything needed for a long stay. Ivana was welcoming, attentive, helpful and lovely. We have stayed at 100s of places about the world, and for us, this rose way up as a perfect match. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end au calme dans la verdure chez Yvonnick et Nadège. cocon propre mignon décoré avec goût . conforme à la description, à refaire . Clin d œil à Sofia et Roméo les petits habitants à quatre pattes .

Mooi gerestaureerd huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf. Heel rustige omgeving, klein dorpje, dus voor voorzieningen moet je even op pad. We komen graag nog eens.

Le logement est parfait surtout avec des enfants (jeux, trampoline..) et Christine est vraiment aux petits soins ! Merci pour votre dévouement ! Nous le conseillons à tout le monde pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire de manière stratégique !

Geneviève est très gentille et réactive. Très bon acceuil, chambre correspondant à la description et petit déjeuner au top, merci pour les bonnes gaufres ! 😊 Pour les enfants c'est parfait, animaux à l'extérieur, grande salle de jeux à l'étage, lit bébé avec vrai matelas à disposition. Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Château des Hommes. L’environnement est très beau et les hôtes d’une grande gentillesse. Albine et toute sa famille font tout pour que vous passiez un magnifique séjour. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et la literie est très bonne. Nous avons adoré et nous reviendrons avec plaisir! 🥰

Le gîte de Pierre est une jolie demeure chargée d’histoire…. L’environnement est calme et reposant. Pierre est très accueillant et très discret. Il nous a indiqué les bonnes adresses pour déjeuner .

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation! Loved every minute of our stay and felt totally spoilt being able to use the pool and relax in the gardens whenever we wanted. Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to unwind. Highly recommended, we will be back!

We stayed with Julie, Simon and Carol for 2 weeks. We loved the location it is stunning, the area is very peaceful surrounded by fields full of sunflowers. Julie is a great host and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to do our own thing. The pool was amazing, the house was very comfortable and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. We took Monty our Springer Spaniel and he absolutely loved the location, he had so much space to roam free plus a close by watering hole to cool down in the heat, as well as enjoying the company of Julie’s two dogs, Martha and Nancy. The private garden with BBQ was great and we spent many nights watching the sunset across the fields. We wanted 2 weeks of complete relaxation and this is what we got. Supermarket is very local with lots to see and do all on your doorstep! A lovely holiday had by all! Monty definitely gave it the thumbs up! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay. When I reached out to Albine, to give her an ETA, she messaged back soon. She was very welcoming, with clear instructions for entering the room and breakfast. Our room was a large comfortable space with good light, screened windows to let the clean country air into our room. We kept the windows open the entire stay to hear crickets, birds, thunder and rainstorm. Beautiful countryside estate with castle ruins on the property to explore. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but Albine had placed "pool towels" in our room, just in case. As a guest, you need to know, you are really in the country. The closest town that we frequented was Langeais and Villandry, with each having at least one chateau to visit and plenty of restaurants, chocolate shops, bakeries, and casual places to get a drink and a french style sandwich. This was a good base to do our daily exploring. Albine had many suggestions and knows the history of the area extremely well. Thank you Albine. Hope to visit soon!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Haus war sehr schön, top gepflegt und absolut sauber. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich rundum wohlzufühlen. Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das riesige Grundstück und die traumhafte Lage – ein echter Geheimtipp zum Entspannen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description et à nos attentes, les instructions d'Eric pour l'arrivée étaient parfaites même en son absence, l'équipement du "Joly Gite" est vraiment complet et l'ensemble des chambres et salle de bains sont décorées avec soin et sont spacieuses et agréables. La salle de séjour et la cuisine nous offre un lieu de vie très agréable avec tous les ustensiles de cuisines et vaisselle a disposition. A l'extérieur tout est pensé pour que l'on passe un bon moment en famille avec le terrain de pétanque, et les différents coins repas ou salon de jardin. Ce gite est l'endroit idéal pour un week end famille ou amis pour visiter les environs de tours. Au top, Merci Eric pour votre accueil et votre bienveillance.

Marisa est une hote tres avenante ! Son gite est ideal pour une semaine en famille : tout est là pour les enfants, tres propre et literie de tres bonne qualite ! Ce gite est un havre de paix au milieu des nombreux chateaux à visiter. Je recommande vivement !

Merci à Sylvain pour le gîte qui etait superbe et très bien équipé ! Déco de très bon goût également, on sent que c’est une vraie maison de campagne familiale et pas un endroit standardisé pour Airbnb, ce qui se fait rare et qui fait donc encore plus plaisir ! Merci !

Het wat een heerlijk verblijf, heel fijn, comfortabel en mooi ingericht. Veel aandacht voor details. Heel leuk ook met de ezels. Gastvrouw was zeer attent! In de omgeving vonden we niet veel om te doen, maar voor deze accommodatie zou ik zeker terugkomen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte du moulin de l’Amasse. Très bien situé, dans un cadre enchanteur, au bord de l’eau et au cœur de la verdure , la maison est très agréable, décorée avec goût. L’équipement est parfaitement adapté et de bonne qualité, notamment la literie. Le logement est d’une propreté irréprochable. Les hôtes se montrent arrangeants et disponibles. Nous avons même pu profiter de la piscine en tout début de saison ! Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hébergement.
